Hello!   I'm a HubSpot partner and I have encountered an instance where my HubSpot customer wants to use the county as a routing option for internal emails. That's great and doable; however, when the customer has nearly two hundred offices around the country, this leads to an overwhelming number of counties listed for a customer to choose from on the form.   Our idea: Use conditional options! By having a State dropdown menu and creating a dropdown for County, we could apply the conditional option for each state.   The Result: The conditional option only works on the contact record and not on forms.     HubSpot, please make this happen for us!   And community, if you have a solution, I would LOVE to hear it! ...read more

With the freshly released new feature of the Lead Object which I know is still in Beta, it would be great if we could add/edit properties similar to the other objects like contacts, companies, deals, etc.   For example, I need to create a Lead source property so the sales reps can choose from our own lead sources rather than the default HubSpot ones. ...read more

Problem: If you want to archive a property in Hubspot, a property has to be "used in" 0. This means that a property cannot be used in a view, reports, workflows, calculated properties, etc. Today, a super admin has to delete all views or ask the user who created the view to remove the property as a column from a view.    Solution - If a property is no longer needed, allow a super admin to remove a property from all views. Going through up to 100 views and manually removing a property is not feasible. Manually deleting up to 100 views is also not ideal as quite often the views are still needed.  ...read more

I'd like to propose some enhancements to the Slack notifications feature within HubSpot workflows to make them more versatile and user-friendly.   Currently, when setting up Slack notifications in workflows, there are a few limitations that I believe could be improved upon:   Inability to Reorder Properties: It would be beneficial to have the ability to reorder the properties that should be attached to Slack notifications. Currently I have to delete all properties when I would like to add one on the first position, and re-add the other properties afterwards, which is quite time consuming and laborious, especially if you have a lot of properties to include in the Slack notification.  Lack of Text Styling Options: Currently, the Slack notifications sent from HubSpot workflows do not support text styling options such as bold, colors, font sizes, and other visual adjustments. Adding these styling options would enable users to highlight important information and improve the overall readability and aesthetics of the notifications.   By addressing these limitations, users would have greater flexibility and control over the Slack notifications generated by HubSpot workflows, ultimately enhancing their effectiveness in communicating important updates and actions to team members.   I believe implementing these enhancements would significantly improve the user experience and make the Slack notifications feature in HubSpot workflows even more valuable for teams. I need the ability to edit the labels on the lead object, currently they are Hot, Warm, Cold. I need the ability to designate them as existing customer or new customer. This means that I either need the ability to select muiliple labels or make customs labels. ...read more

We would like to set revenue / deals created objectives that are not automatically assigned to Deal Owners, and report on these goals in via Dashboards.   Ideally, we'd choose the property which we want the revenue to be measured by.    How:  In the "Setup" phase of the goal creation, instead of choosing Users or Teams in the "Contributors" section, we'd be able to choose Properties, and then choose which property to assign the goal to.   Then, in the reporting tool, if objectives have been set for the property selected, we would be able to toggle "Include Revenue goal" similarly to reports with Owners or dates.   In our case, we have a property on deals for the BDR who helped create the deal, and we cannot report on their performance vs their objectives without going outside of HubSpot.  ...read more

One common challenge faced across business units and teams is the limitation of having only one default value for properties in HubSpot.   Essential properties such as names and [object] owners are shared among various teams within an organization. However, assigning a single default value for these properties poses significant constraints and inefficiencies.   HubSpot Enterprise Account with Business Units still has only one Default value for properties used across teams   Our current workaround: Currently, teams often resort to reaching a consensus on generic default values for shared properties. While this works in some cases, it becomes problematic when teams have divergent needs.   For instance, the "Contact Owner" property might require different default values for different business units. This forces teams to create custom properties for each unit, duplicating efforts and complicating data management. To address this challenge, I propose expanding HubSpot's property management capabilities to allow for customizable default values on a per-business-unit and -team basis. This improvement would empower teams to tailor default property values according to their unique requirements without resorting to creating redundant custom properties. ...read more

After reviewing the new Prospecting tool, feel like it's missing some key things that we've hacked "Tasks" to contain.   Specifically, the customization piece (custom properties, customizing HS properties, etc.) is missing. Would love to actually be able to: Change the lead name to fit the reason why a contact has become a "lead" (ex. Form Submission, Interaction with Content, etc.) Create custom pipelines for the different ways we may create leads for the team (ex. Marketing, referrals, vendors, SDR, etc.) Have a description property that we can customize with the notes about the lead (ex. details provided through the referral or form submission Create custom properties where we can add data like the above & filter by it These are just a few & I'm pretty new to the tool.
