We are experiencing a crucial limitation to how offers are built up in hubspot and especially how they are visualized. We have sell a SaaS product, with a monthly license fee depending of the quantity of each line item. Simply put:  a price per asset we track per month. However:  depending on the customer and the volumes, invoicing is done on a monthly, 6-monthly or annual basis. However, the license price should be monthly since we report in MRR and ARR, so replacing these by one-time costs does not cut it.   A concrete example where we have a one-time integration cost +  a license cost of 500 euro/month. Invoiced on a yearly basis: What would actually be correct, and way less confusing for the customer, would be: One-time subtotal:  2000 Yearly subtotal:  6000/year Tota to pay:  8000 To do this, the following should be possible in line items in an offer: => If the line item is set as a monthly cost, you select a term of 12 months (our T&C include automatic renewal, so this is recurring) and then select Annually as billing frequency: The cost in the offer should set the net price to €6000 (12x€500). However, it calculates this wrongly and sets the MRR to the monthly cost divided by 12, which is absurd: To work around this I now have to set this to monthly,  the offer says monthly invoicing in the breakdown,  the total is incorrect but the total contract value is correct. Then I have to add to the terms that the invoicing is actually done on a yearly basis.  All very confusing for the customer. When creating a product, the user is unable to edit the internal form within HubSpot. When creating a contact, company, deal or ticket, the user can edit the form to require or show properties that are important to their business. This functionality should be enabled for all internal creation forms within HubSpot.  As can be seen above, the user is able to edit the contact creation form. The below image is the product creation form that does not have this edit feature allowed.  This will be useful to anyone who creates custom properties for their products and would like to require these fields to create a new product.    ... Hello, Please consider the following requests:   1) Please make invoices editable 2) Please enable the ability for customers to make partial payments.   Regarding #1 - it's absolutely necessary for me as a business owner to be able to edit invoices. I don't like the fact that after I've finished with an invoice I have to hit Finalize and then if the customer changes their mind after the fact, I can't go back in and edit the invoice. I use QuickBooks Online as my primary accounting software and from what I've heard with other similar systems (Xero, Invoice Ninja, Sage, etc) they all provide this functionality.   Regarding #2 - There are times when customers only want to make a partial payment. For example, my policy is that customers pay for products or services I need to purchase before I do the job and then pay the labor after I'm finished. Or maybe the CX wants to make a deposit or a downpayment. They can't do that with how HubSpot Invoices are currently set up. These are just two of many examples.   Thanks! ... Mehr anzeigen

In order to segment customers based on the line items bought, it would be helpful to be able to use Active Lists with criteria based on the line item a contact has purchased. The list criteria options allow you to do this, but no results are returned. This seems like a bug given that the list crtieria allow you to filter based on line item properities but return no results.  ... Mehr anzeigen

The process of sending reminders automatically for Invoices is clunky.     There should be a native reminder for every invoice that does not have to be created via Workflow.     In order to setup automatic reminders for Invoices, you either have to create a task to send an email manually or send a marketing email or pay more for access to transactional marketing emails.  All of those options are not ideal and would be nice to have a simple generic reminder.  ... The Payment Schedule Feature currently in Beta could be improved with a few simple changes.  The Invoice creation based on the Payment Schedule could be improved vastly. I setup a Quote with a Payment Schedule and have a few issues. Neither Invoice created once a payment is made is owned by the Quote owner by default. There is no owner for the invoices created but it should be the same as Quote Owner by Default because that is technically who created the Invoices. The first invoice paid within the Quote has a Paid status but the subsequent invoices are in Draft mode with no owner and no balance due.  The only way to do this is to setup Tasks via Workflow in order to manually edit all the Invoices. When the Owner is assigned to the invoice, the balance due shows up and then you have to Edit the invoice to Finalize it.  It's odd that there is no balance due until there is an owner.   Very tedious and although I'm glad the feature for Payment Schedules is there, the work is takes to Finalize Invoices is so tedious is makes the feature much less valuable. Our tax authority mandates that when goods are supplied at a 0% VAT rate—such as when we export goods abroad or store them in a customs warehouse—we must not charge VAT but are required to note a 0% VAT rate on our quotes and invoices. This practice is crucial for compliance with our local tax regulations. Unfortunately, we have discovered that HubSpot's current system does not accept a 0% tax rate, which poses a challenge for us in adhering to these regulations. We have been unable to find a workaround or setting within HubSpot that allows us to include a 0% tax rate on our price quotes and invoices. It's already ok when we can use 0 but are only allowed by the system to use >0 fort example 0,01 Given the importance of this feature for our operations and compliance (and also for other companies), I am reaching out to see if there is a possible solution or workaround that we may have overlooked. Alternatively, we would greatly appreciate any guidance on how we might work together to incorporate this capability into HubSpot's platform. Understanding the complexities that changes to the system might entail, we are open to discussing any possibilities that could help address this issue. Whether it be a custom development, an upcoming feature, or any advice on how we can adjust our current processes, your expertise and support would be invaluable to us.   Regards, John ... As the ARR & MRR reporting is based around these properties, which are calculated via the Line Items, it's essential for accurate reporting that it be possible to make adding them to Deals mandatory. I've worked with a few organisations where this has been an issue now, and while creating 'Missing Line Item' tasks and reminder notification workflows for the sales reps helps, there are always going to be Deals here and there missing Line Items with the current, and so Annual & Monthly Revenue Reporting inaccurate. If it were simply possible to enforce the addition of Line Items so as to move between stages, or move the deal to Closed Won, the problem would be solved. As it currently stands I have a few clients with this issue, and I'm seeing between 40-60% completion of deals with associated product line items - making these key reporting properties unreliable and incomplete.
