Hey HubSpot We are strong advocates of the Products/Line Items feature in HubSpot and offers great context behind deals.  What we're finding with clients and ourselves alike, is the functionality request to be able to associate Products to Tickets. This is often because someone may raise a ticket that corresponds to products or services bought and it would be great to have the Customer Success team get visibility of this.  Now, we know we can access this via deals, but in some cases we want to restrict the Customer Success team's access to deals as it may be overwhelming if they're adopting HubSpot for the first time.  As we can import data into Products as it's own object, it would be good to be able to associate them with the other standard objects as well.  Thank you Sam ...read more

Sometimes when a deal is closed won, with an approved/sign quotes changes must be made (because of a sales misunderstanding or error) Even if the sales team create a new quote for approval, this old quote need to be canceled. There should be a check box or something that would allow you to make an included line item optional.     The system would immediately recognize this, perhaps highlight the line item in different color, and then add small verbiage that says something along the lines of "Optional Line Item - not included in total price" or just "Optional".   Additionally, it should mark the line item cost/price as zero so that it's not included in the total price of the quote.   This I believe is better than simply adding a line item and then setting the quantity to zero.  It may confuse the customer. ...read more

I know this has been proposed many times before by other members, but I too would greatly benefit from being able to apply, modify, or remove tax on a line item level on quotes.   Product library entries should have tax properties saved, and then I should be able to apply tax to only the line items that I want at the quote/deal level. ...read more

I would like the ability to quickly copy or duplicate a line item within a deal/quote.   I often have the same product enter multiple times in a deal/quote.  Said differently, multiple line items will be for the same product.    Instead of adding the line item multiple times from the product library, I would like the action button for the line item to include "Copy".  This is a much faster way to enter duplicate line items.  It also copies any unique information added to the line item's description, which I also need to include.  For example the same product might apear multiple times but each entry is for a different geographical location - "Type F1" or  "Location F2" ...read more

Give the customers the ablity to edit the qauntity and qaulity of there items within their quote in order to suite their needs. This would help so much of the back and forth between the customer and sales trying to reach the perfect price for a quote!   Example: If a price on a quote for a customer is to much for them we have to go back and forth and say we could do this price if we take the qaulity of the item down and then back and forth until they have reached a comfortable price ...read more

We have a requirement to archive products that have become defunct.  Deleting them would impact historic dealfow reporting and is not a practical solution, so archiving products within the 'products & quotes' would be useful so that they don't display when someone is searching for a live product.   We have created an 'Archive' folder within products & quotes but the items within that folder are visible in search, meaning some team members often - unwittingly - select an archived product item.   We believe this would be a useful feature for other companies too. ...read more

Would be highly valuauable to be able to add required fields to quotes   We're specifically interested in requiring First Name and Last Name.   Currently, this is not possible and when someone uses a email not in our Hubspot system, it auto adds the email as a contact profile but then, doesn't have a first name or last name. Additionally, we push our payments as invoices to Quickbooks but without the first and last name, it causes errors in the data push.   Therefore, the invoice never gets created. ...read more

It would be VERY useful to allow us to add offline payment methods on quotes or on a form. Currently, it appears you can only set as "no payment", "hubspot payments" or "Stripe".
