Currently, when you give space for digital signature on a quote, we often get the quote back signed manually, even when there is no space. The reason is 50% customers are digitally not ready to sign (I know it should be easy but you know...), and 50% is mistrust of German business people in digital signatures.   Anyways, currently it is not possible to mark the quote as signed manually. I had to take back the quote, get a new closing date (today or future), change from digital sign to space for signature, republish the quote and only then where able to mark as signed. Now, to me there are two options of making this process easier: A: Mark quote as signed no matter what choice was given for signing it. B: Allow to set up both in the quote, digital sign and manual sign, letting the customer decide what they prefer. For the politic of making the world more digital, I'd go for A. ...read more

We created a custom object for our partners. This way we can associate the partner object to all deals that have been referred by that specific partner. From this we can create reports on commission, and see a clear distinction between the deal and the partner.    Now, there is one big challenge. We also want to send out proposals to the partner when they become our official partner. However, it is not possible to associate quotes to custom objects, or contacts or companies, but only to deals. In our case, we do not want to create a deal for a partner. We also tried it with pandadoc, but unfortunately also with this integration it can only be connected to a deal.    The workaround would be to create a pipeline and deal stage for proposal and associate it to the custom object. For some standard issue quote templates, it would save our teams time if we are able to build a quote from a workflow.  All of the field properties will be present on the quote template that are auto-populated and the line items selected ahead of time.  Once the deal meets a stage in the deal pipeline, the quote will be auto-created and initiate the review process for approval.  ...read more

When we submit quotes for approval in Hubspot it updates the deal amount automatically.  I am aware of the option to update the amount field to manual but we do prefer to keep it automated for most use cases.  We would like an option (like in the line items) that provides you a choice to update the amount or keep your current amount. When registering a product, you can link that parent product with a child product. Hi, In deals and especially during the quote creation step: Review Line Items, I hope there will be a feature to add a column(quote creation step) and section (deals) where we can see the total cost of each line item x its quantity. Then in the summary, we should have an overall total cost of line items and overall profit margin. The cost and margin, of course, will not appear in the quote but for the sake of our sales rep understanding the costs and margin of their quotes and our sales report, I think it is a very useful UX.  ...read more

Currently it is only possible to convert deals without recurring line items to invoices. Having this functionality would reduce the duplicate effort of creating a quote and then creating an invoice in HubSpot for any business with recurring line items. ...read more
