Hey!    Wanna share an idea that came from leadership, they love the playbook feature. We have playbooks on how to sell against/win against each of our competitors. They're based on data and highly effective.    We'd like a way to report on whether a playbook was viewed on a certain deal.    We don't want to require logged calls/notes since this playbook is mainly informational.  This would help us gather data on which reps are using the playbook / what % of deals was this playbook used on / and what the win rate is on deals where the playbook is used.    @DMcDaniel let me know if you have questions, feel free to email me as well. ...read more

Hey we really need improved permissions in all of hubspot (Badly)! There's no consistency across objects.   Recently I was trying to assign access to playbooks for specific teams and inadvertantly removed access from parent teams that should be able to see everything their child teams can access.    Please fix this, getting hard to administer hubspot with the lack of consistency / patterns / rules of permissioning.    Use your founder's idea of "Frameworks" to make this easier for everyone else. I love implementing Playbooks for my clients, but there are a few niggles which could be ironed out to make the experience even better!   Here's my list so far, gathered whilst creating a single Playbook yesterday:   The 'Enablement card' presents tthe recommended Playbook in an odd way and takes up too much space on the Middle tab (very large and displays the first two fields of the Playbook). If you choose to log the Playbook as a Note, any introductory text or personalisation tokens are not added to the Note. It only records the answers to questions in the Note. So a lot of information is missing in the Note. The Question/Answer list (in the Note for the Playbook) repeats the word Notes (and adds a bullet point) throughout - so this makes it more difficult to read. Any formatting in the Playbook, such as Headers, is not shown in the Note that is added. The follow up Task that's created for the Playbook just says 'Follow up regarding note on x Date'. It doesn't make it clear that the follow-up is related to the Playbook completion. When the Playbook is launched for a Deal, I would expect any tokens I've added (Company, Contact) to link the Playbook to those linked records. Currently my Playbook only associates with the Deal record, not with the Company and Contact associated to the Deal. I have multiple Contacts linked to my Deal. I woudl like to merge in data from a specific Contact on the Deal (with a specific Association Label). Currently it seems to merge in the name of the Contact who was last associated to the Deal which is not ideal.  I'm very happy to speak to the Playbooks Product team to help improve the Product. We are starting to use Playbooks for sales and customer success purposes. It would be great to be able to create reports for the number of times they are used, and also by play book.   Currently Playbook activity is not identifiable as a reportable activity when building reports. ...read more

Hi,   On behalf of one of our customers, I would like to suggest an enhancement for our playbook questions feature. Currently, when a user edits a playable question (even adding a space will trigger), all previously entered data associated with that question is lost. This can be quite frustrating for users who want to make minor adjustments without losing important data they’ve already collected.   Suggested Improvement: We propose that HubSpot introduces the ability to edit playbook questions without losing the data of the previously entered information. This would allow users to make necessary changes or corrections to their questions while retaining all the valuable data that has been collected up to that point. ...read more

Since meetings can be created from the left side of the Contact/Company page, it would be nice to have an option to limit the logging of playbooks to existing meetings only, so as to prevent the creation of duplicate meetings. Adding a Schedule meeting button and using playbooks without logging almost works, but since the Meeting button on the left side of the company record cant be removed, there is possibility for scheduling the meeting in the wrong place. 📞 Playbooks should have the option to not log as a call, it should be able to be completed without associating it to an activity. ✨ Playbooks should have the option to be required between stages (deal stages, ticket statuses, and lifecycle stages) 🔁 Playbook questions should be able to copy to a property natively without having an enterprise hub. This feature is SO POWERFUL for SMB and Mid-Market sales teams but never gets used because the enterprise hub isn't worth the upgrade to them. 📚 Playbook completion should be targetable with workflows. Spinning off automation from the playbook being completed OR not completed is a simple workflow that can hold sales reps accountable for accurate data tracking. Hi, We love to use playbooks in our sales team. Currently we use it also for prepping to a sales meeting and bring some data fields from company (Like turnover, employee count and industry). Now with Breeze in place, it would be epic to automate preparation even better.    What if Breeze would give summary about the company and person you are about to meet inside of playbook. Then it would automate the whole preparation process and then systematically would save content inside playbook.  ...read more
