I have set up playbook questions to "Update Service Property" however, only "contact, company, deal or ticket" properties are supported. This seems like a shortcoming of the new Services feature that I hope will be fixed. Description: Rich Text properties in Playbooks currently open in a separate popup window. This breaks the flow and adds unnecessary clicks — especially frustrating during live calls or meetings.   Use Case: Our sales team uses Playbooks during customer conversations to collect structured notes. We switched from Long Text to Rich Text properties to allow formatting (like bold and bullet points), but now every entry opens in a popup, disrupting the process.   Limitations: Long Text doesn’t support formatting. Rich Text creates extra steps with popups. There’s no setting to control this behavior.   Suggested Solution: Allow Rich Text properties to be edited inline in the Playbook panel, or give users the option to choose between popup or inline editing.   Impact: This would streamline data entry, reduce clicks, and improve focus and efficiency — especially for teams working live in Playbooks. ...read more

Hi all, It would be nice to increase the time frame for when you can attach a logged activity to a playbook. It is currently six hours I believe, but it would be very nice to remove or increase this limit.   A use case:   We want to utilise Playbooks for our CSM's when they're hosting QBR's. I've created a draft Playbook and in the settings selected to Log it as a Meeting and the meeting type as QBR (a custom property we created). Our team has linked their calendars to HubSpot so that when they schedule a QBR meeting it gets created on the Company/Deal record, but when they save the Playbook, it will create another meeting. So in theory we have the meeting scheduled x amount of days/weeks ago for the QBR and now a second meeting recorded when the Playbook is saved. I know you can log the Playbook to an engagement but HubSpot Knowledge hub states: 'You can attach an engagement logged within the last six hours to a playbook to capture notes and property values in the playbook.' but if the meeting was scheduled days ago this doesn't work.   Why the limit of six hours? Would be very handy to log the playbook to the meeting that was scheduled last week, for example. ...read more

Hey!    Wanna share an idea that came from leadership, they love the playbook feature. We have playbooks on how to sell against/win against each of our competitors. They're based on data and highly effective.    We'd like a way to report on whether a playbook was viewed on a certain deal.    We don't want to require logged calls/notes since this playbook is mainly informational.  This would help us gather data on which reps are using the playbook / what % of deals was this playbook used on / and what the win rate is on deals where the playbook is used.    @DMcDaniel let me know if you have questions, feel free to email me as well. ...read more

Hey we really need improved permissions in all of hubspot (Badly)! There's no consistency across objects.   Recently I was trying to assign access to playbooks for specific teams and inadvertantly removed access from parent teams that should be able to see everything their child teams can access.    Please fix this, getting hard to administer hubspot with the lack of consistency / patterns / rules of permissioning.    Use your founder's idea of "Frameworks" to make this easier for everyone else.
