Main Suggestion:
A connected calendar view similar to how the marketing calendar page is arranged that can adjust between month, week, and day overviews.
Why:
The sidebar schedule tab under tasks not intuitive or a comprehensive enough calender view for user needs.
Not being able to view a connected calendar has been identified as a hurdle for adoption. We are encouraging communications to go directly from the HubSpot CRM. However, when users have to open Outlook for their calendars, they can fall into old email habits while they have their Outlook pages open.
It can also be frustrating to have yet another platform that must be open regularly, especially if it is for one feature.
Additional suggestions:
For both the calendar and schedule view:
Ideally the day and week views would display an organization's working hours as default instead of putting the top of the current hour at the top and scrolling down as the day goes on or defaulting to 12am/00:00.
If a wider connected calendar view becomes available, include a link to the full page or extend the pop out from this tab because the sidebar would be too narrow to display and interact with the extended date ranges.
In the existing Schedule sidebar (and the suggested connected calendar page), set "all-day" calendar events into the top of the view instead of needing to scroll to see them, like the marketing calendar current is set to do.
