In marketing emails it is not possible to insert tables so far. You have to work around this by inserting an image or similar. A table is a widely used and simple module. Therefore it would be great if you could insert a table in marketing emails as well. So you can change tables at short notice without having to adapt the whole image. I work with several clients using HubSpot, and it would be useful to be able to send a test email with a brief message so I don't have to also send an email saying to be on the lookout for a Test email.    I used MailChimp before coming to HubSpot and although I find HubSpot emails much more intuitive to work with, MailChimp had this option and made it obvious the message was a comment instead of part of the marketing email.    An example would be something like "Here's that newsletter we talked about, could you have a look at the graphic and make sure the pricing is correct?"    It would be a lot easier to send as part of the message instead of separately!  ...read more

It would be incredibly helpful if we could categorize or tag marketing emails by lifecycle stage or other custom field.    Right now, if we want to score leads based on Marketing Email Activity, our only option is to add each marketing email individually, which is incredibly time consuming. This also creates a problem because emails are bound to get missed, and you have to remember to manually add an email each time a new one is created.    Ideally, it would help if we could tag/categorize emails by Lifecycle Stage or other Custom Field. We need more layout flexibility while creating an email without updating the template. If your email campaigns vary in length, you are always updating the template. We need the ability to clone, delete and rearrange module sections that are already built in the temple while creating an email. This would allow us to reuse sections or build multiple layouts in a single template. Flexible columns would work: http://knowledge.hubspot.com/site-pages-user-guide/how-to-use-content-modules but is not available in Email templates. I love all the places where commenting shows up now. This is a great way to collaborate, and the comment mode with specific comments is amazing. I'd love it if we could resolve the comments and allow them to archive. I found this in the email tool when our team collaborated and we had several comments. I have a frustration with the market email exports:   1. Why are you not able to choose what columns you want to export? you can do it for everything else? but not for market emails, I have had to waste time removing columns I don't need   2. Why won't it show you companies? it only shows contacts, I want to be able to see what companies are associated with that contact, again I have had to waste time manually putting companies for each contact   I want to be able to export a recipient list to show companies and their contacts that have clicks/opened a specific marketing email, MailChimp has had this feature for years, why can't we do this on Hubspot??? ...read more

hi team, posting this idea on behalf of my customer:    At the moment, we can only select published automated emails and sent regular emails as a workflow trigger.    It would be great to have all marketing emails, regardless of their send status to be selectable as a trigger as it will be easier for users to create workflows and turn them on as soon as marketing emails are sent, as opposed to scrambling to add the marketing email as a trigger to their workflow.  Thanks very much for the consideration team 🙂  ...read more
