Some Modules like the web version come with default texts, in this case "View in Browser". We wish to change the default text for certain language. Currently, this requires to customize the text manually in every email, or create email templates just for this text snippet - which both isn't the most efficient approach. I think it'd be very helpful for all of my accounts if there were a way to set an account-level safety feature. No emails sent out with empty tokens. So, for example, if you reference a custom property on a contact, or associated ticket, or whatever, you could prevent it from sending.    This would generate a list, of contacts who failed to send because of the missing token. Those contacts could then be fixed and re-enrolled in the campaign, survey, or drip campaign.     This would make the sending tools more approachable, and add a nice safety feature for big complicated accounts with lots going on. I would like to send an email that displays different images based on the "type of work" a contact says they do - this is a multiselect function. For example if they say they do type of work a, I want to use a smart rule to display image A. If they do type of work a, c and f, I want to display images A, C and F.   At the moment I can set smart rules for all of this content using each type of work option as a contact list.   What I can't do is say DON'T DISPLAY this image as default, UNLESS they are in the appropriate list. If you don't meet the criteria - show nothing. If you meet the criteria, display the appropriate image. The workaround at the moment is to display as default a different image e.g. something transparent but this is a bit cumbersome. ...read more

Would be really helpful to be able to run a test with an email using personalization tokens of an associated custom object in its body.   Right now it appears empty in the arriving test mail, even if the test contact I choose has all the values set in its associated custom object.   Pls make sure that this relation can also be tested and I do not need to run live tests with every email I create like this.   Thanks! ...read more

I would really like to be able to pick what Super Admins can approve marketing emails and who can't. We have several Super Admins that are not in the marketing department and its frustrating they are getting 38 different emails to approve each time a school is sending something out. It also causes confusion on who should be approving what for the people who should be looking at those emails.  I would love to be able to say these three admins are able to approve marketing emails and these that have this contact owner handles these, these contact owners are handled by super admin 2, etc.  ...read more

Hi there!   At the moment, there isn't any option to exclude employee activity from counting towards forms analytics, marketing email analytics or campaign analytics.   For the general web analytics this can be done by excluding IP addresses, however not for other tools in HubSpot.   Why is this important? There needs to be a way to test conversion paths (click marketing email, submit form on page) without skewing the conversion rates before even launching a campaign. (Deleting contacts after testing doesn't do the trick, they still remain part of the email and form analytics.) Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more
