We often receive emails that are related to either temporary mail domains or known spammer domains. The form checks for email domains in HubSpot is one of three options: 1. reCAPTCHA 2. Deny all domains on the block list 3. Export and import an edited version of the block list to a form field #2 is not applicable in many cases as the list also included gmail.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com and similar valid non-spam and non-temporary email domains. #3 is fine, but has a major drawback that it is static. So as soon as I have exported, edited and imported the domains, there are no longer any dymanic update based on HubSpot's list maintenance. Requirement - make emails domains dynamic so HubSpot list of domains is the basis for a dynamic check - we can configure which of the available domains that we want to allow pass the check - the defined block domain list is applied to all forms where an email is entered - the defined block domain list is checked when a contact's email is added or updated, the user cannot store an email which is on a blocked domain - Optionally an API call to the API at https://www.stopforumspam.com/ can validate emails and email domains. For a reference implementation you can see how we have done this on our video training platform uQualio.
