Hey everyone, I've noticed a gap in our HubSpot contact lists that I believe needs addressing. Currently, there isn't a built-in view to display the current subscription status of contacts for marketing emails. This seems odd, especially considering we can view opt-out statuses ("Opted out of...") for contacts. I stumbled upon a workaround in the community forum (see here), but I believe this should be a standard feature, particularly for Marketing Starter accounts that don't have access to calculated properties.   For my part, I frequently find myself yearning for just such a column, particularly in the midst of managing our newsletter marketing efforts. I propose that HubSpot implement a feature allowing users to easily view the current subscription status of contacts directly in contact lists. After a recent update, the additional page views at the bottom of a list view are no longer available. Our clients enjoy the ability to click on specific pages versus manually scrolling from page to page. Can we have this feature back? ...read more

This Idea is for Marketing Users in Hubspot The goal is to automate and expand usage of Hubspot Campaigns. The adds extraordinary value for attributing engagement from contacts to marketing assets See below: We have been diligently utilizing Hubspot's 'Marketing Campaigns' functionality for all of our Assets.   Emails Forms Landing Page Blog Ad Campaign Social Post Webinar etc   By tying our Assets to these Hubspot Campaigns, we're able to aggregate contacts that have 'Engaged' with those assets. But it's missing a key component.... Here's the issue: If we want to utilize those 'New' or 'Influenced' contacts in workflows, then we're unable to do so without having to manually go into each campaign, and choose the Use in List button to then make a list out of those contacts for automation. This seems like an oversight on Hubspot's part. The relationship of a contact to a campaign is known, the relationship of a contact to an asset is known. But to use that relationship I have to manually click a button to create a list, it's not available as a filter for creating dynamic lists nor is it available as a trigger/fitler for workflows. Why? The streamlined solution here is to make that relationship available as a filter for lists and workflows. That then allows us, the customer, to then create any automation we can think of against these 'new' or 'influenced' contacts. Proof of Concept: The use case I specifically have is building out SFDC Campaign Attribution for contacts that have engaged with specific assets of the same category. Example: We have marketing emails, ad campaigns, social posts  and web pages all promoting a specific upsell solution. If a contact opens the email about this solution, add them to a salesforce campaign. If a contact visits the webpage for that solution, add them to a salesforce campaign. We want to be able to track every engagement down to the asset itself, and use those engagements as triggers for campaign membership within our CRM. Screenshots: 1. Max E. When a sequence ends, I would like to group together & export the contacts by their "status" so I can have data around who responded and who didn't. There needs to be a filter in "Contacts" that includes the status of a sequence (Enrolled, no response yet, Errors etc.). Extremely necessary when dealing with hundreds of contacts. ...read more

Especially in the latter stages of the sales process, we are sharing Sales Documents with leads quite extensively.  Whereas the tracking and reporting on the Sales Document page itself is good - I can see a full list of who downloaded the document - the tracking and reporting on the contact page is very limited.    I propose to enable clicks on a 'Sales Document' to be used as a trigger (e.g. for a workflow) in the same way you can do this with Page Views.  This can then be used in a range of funnel activities, e.g.:   Enrol contact in a new workflow Populate a custom field on contact for e.g. 'Downloaded Document X' with value 'YES' to provide better visibility of whether or not a contract has downloaded the document. Allocate Hubspot Score points as downloads of these Sales Document is a major indicator for whether the lead is hot, or not. ...read more

When a Marketing department makes use of hundreds of forms to collect leads with paid advertising it would like to create active lists that keep track if/when these leads turn into actual revenue. In this way it can determine the effectiveness/ROI of paid activities.   The current list filter Hubspot provides for this, only let's you select indivdual forms to include in the filter. When you make use of hundreds of forms, setting up this filter will take hours and is very sensitive to errors. Also, when you add a new form to your campaigns you need to manually add this form to the Hubspot filter.     This problem would be solved if you were able to create the filter based on "form name contains any of" rules/dropdowns. This way of filtering is possible with other properties in Hubspot.   Having this feature for including forms in bulk will save hours of manually adding form names to a filter and makes sure that the filter itself will add newly created forms as long as you make use of a consitent naming convention for forms and the form name corresponds with the created filter.     ...read more
