As a sales manager, it is critical to be able to filter out and measure only those activities that are done by a salesperson (HubSpot Owner).     Presently, this can only be done by inspecting each individual contact and selecting the Filter Timeline option to remove the Marketing, Global and Integrations - leaving just activities initiated by the Sales person.  This is impractical for measuring a salesperson's activities across his client base.   Within Contacts main view and within Lists, after selecting HubSpot Owner to filter accounts for a specific salesperson we need the capability to do additional filters to show activities that are only done by that salesperson (or other HubSpot owner selected).     Common critical measurements required with the ability to use Date filters to look at specific periods: - Number of Emails Sent by a Salesperson to a Contact/Company - Date of Last Email Sent by a Salesperson to a Contact/Company - Number of Meetings a Salesperson had with a Contact/Company - Date of Last Meeting a Salesperson had with a Contact/Company - Number of Calls a Salesperson had with a Contact/Company - Date of Last Call a Salesperson had with a Contact/Company - Number of Deals a Salesperson had with a Contact/Company - Date of Last Deal a Salesperson had with a Contact/Company   We need the ability to see if a salesperson is actively working their accounts.  Presently, reporting on Activities or Contacts with a client does not tell if the activity or contact was done by the salesperson or done by marketing (or another person that is not the HubSpot Owner on the account).   Sales people also need this ability to ensure they are not leaving their accounts untouched.  Having the correct filtering abilities will help sales representatives to quickly identify where they are doing well investing in accounts and where they need to invest more time. ...read more

My team and I been using sequences a lot for the past months and I have made observations to improve the functionality of sequences.    1) We should be able to make new static or even active lists from enrolled contacts based on status (enrolled but no response yet, errors, etc.). This would facilitate follow-up actions with the lists once the sequence has completed.   2) We should be able to enroll lists to Sequences directly form the Sequence page. Right now, only contacts can be enrolled from that page or contacts can only be enrolled from the Contact List page, and only 50 are enrolled at a time.    3) For each sequence, I wish we could view how many emails are sent per day. I see the number of enrolled contacts, but not how many or when emails are scheduled to be sent (For example 50 contacts enrolled to date, 10 emails will be sent today, 20 tomorrow, etc.).   4) When scheduling a sequence for enrolled contacts, I have found out after chatting with a Hubspot rep that we cannot schedule according to the contact's timezone. why bother adding this at the top then? And what's the best work around?  Complaint: I scheduled emails for a time and they were sent out at a completely different time, unrelated to the aimed time frame.    5) When scheduling a sequence for enrolled contacts, the current setting is set to "Send Now". However, I never send emails immediately when I enroll any contacts to sequences. I tend to send them when it's best for their time zone. As such, I wish choosing a time to send the email is always prompted to avoid user errors and mistiming the schedules.    I think that is all for now. Instead of having to choose individual emails and imports, I would like to be able to filter by keyword. This way we would unlock a lot of use automation. For example, we could pull imports from a certain source into one list and use that list as enrollment criteria for drip email. We could create list of people who have engaged with marketing email of a certain topic. Etc.      ...read more

It would be great to have the ability to add a general exclusion rule to an active list, rather than having to update every single OR criteria with the exclusion rule.    Here are a few examples:  -We're creating a list of contacts to clear from our database (export and delete). We have a bunch of different criteria for cleaning contacts from the list, but we do not want customers to be cleared and sometimes they fit into those criteria. It would be nice to have a general rule excluding anyone marked Customer rather than having to exclude them from every criteria.  -We have multiple ways for people to sign up for our webinars which all become criteria in a list of webinar registrants. We often test our own forms and, despite having our IP excluded, we still show up in the list of registrants. It would be beneficial to have a universal exclusion rule for our email domain instead of having to add it to all of the criteria. ...read more

I'm currently needing to filter out contacts created from specific imports which are not to be attributed to marketing. Since they all share a similar naming convention, I thought I would be able to use certain keywords in order to isolate them on a list but it turns out you have to use the internal value which changes for every single import. My current list has over 49 filters and the number will keep growing as more data is pushed in on a monthly basis. A feature that would be helpful is the ability to export segmented lists in bulk. We like to back up our data in more than one place and having to export each list one by one is tedious. Having the ability to select the lists that you would like to export and having individual CSVs for each would be helpful and save a lot of time.  ...read more

Hi - we are constantly uploading new lead lists but need to run them against a bunch of filters to suppress people who might already be in the system and enrolled in a sales sequence, have a recent deal, etc.   Right now, we have a list with all our filters added and we just clone this every time and run the uploaded list against these filters.   It would be super helpful to instead have a 'Saved Filters' option that we could select and add to our uploaded list each time. ...read more
