Hubspot has made some changes to the imported lists functionality – prior to these changes, users could import a contact list and immediately select that list as the recipients for an email. Now, after importing the list, you have to perform the extra steps of creating a list from this import, and waiting several minutes for the list to process before being able to use the list for an email. This change adds so much inefficiency to the process when importing an email send list, and at least triples the amount of time it takes. When exporting contact lists, you can filter columns/contact properties you'd like to export. There is a function to select/deselect all, or you can click through the boxes one by one.    It would be incredibly useful and much more efficient to be able to save your selections, so if you want to export another list with the same selection of properties you don't have to manually scroll through selecting/deselecting boxes. These could be saved as named export templates.    Would save a lot of time and hassle. ...read more

This seems to be the only table I can't sort when filtering through a static list of contacts in a contact based list.    It would be much easier to filter through and remove irrelevant emails in a list if they were all grouped by company.  ...read more

Hi HubSpot team,   Despite our team's efforts to keep the number of lists in use to a minimum, we still have so many lists in place that I have recently categorized them into folders and subfolders. However, when accessing the "Lists" section in HubSpot, I am only presented the top level list folders. Also, the number behind these folders only represents the number of lists which are directly inside these folders and does not include the number of lists that are in the next level folders within a folder.   Therefore, it would be totally great if you could: display list folders as a tree / branch view like it is displayed when moving a particular list to another folder display the total number of lists in a folder including the ones in all respective subfolders. I would find it really helpful to tag contact lists as belonging to a certain campaign, so cloning the campaign also clones the lists, which are an essential part of the campaign.   Here's the background...   We are running training workshops, using an integrated webinar platform. Each workshop has a complex set of assets, with automation and webinar integration, to manage various aspects: Pre-workshop interest surveys to prioritize topics (lists + forms + pages + emails) Announcements with registration links (lists+ forms + pages + emails + workflows + webinar integration) Post-registration communications, offers & reminders (lists+ forms + pages + emails + workflows) Post-workshop survey, training materials & session video links (lists+ forms + pages + emails + workflows + webinar integration) All of these forms, landing pages, emails, workflows, CTAs, and webinar platform integrations have to work together. Contact lists are the glue that holds this together, providing essential targeting, segmenting and state management. In particular: We will often use different registration and survey forms (and therefore different landing pages) for different contact segments.  Each email needs a contact list that filters contacts based on whether they've registered, whether they're current users of our product, and other criteria. Workflows use list membership as triggers and/or for conditional branching. Lists are composable, reusable, and are well-suited to encapsulate complex query criteria. So we use them to simplify the workflows.  Bottom line: We think of each workshop event as its own campaign, and the lists are an essential part of the campaign. We want to be able to clone these campaigns, including the lists, for another workshop, another target audience, etc.   We're very happy with the results we've achieved by creating sophisticated campaigns around these workshops. But we're trying to scale it now, and it's very time-consuming and error-prone to manually copy and modify each component in this complex, interdependent set of assets.  Organizing them into a campaign, and being able to clone the campaign, is the first step towards reducing the overhead of running these workshops.   ...read more

Hi,  Can we please get a button that automatically reduces the column width to be as small as possible?  I'm spending lots of time trying to squeeze in more columns in my views and repeating this over and over ...  Even better would be if there was not just one way to squeeze but different squeeze modes. Like: * Dynamic (depending on content width) * Fixed (Small as possible, but still enough to see what's in there) * Progressive (Larger on left side of table, gradually becomming smaller towards the right side of the screen). It would be incredibly helpful if we were able to import a group on contacts that we just had an event or meeting with and have it log the meeting.    We often host events and educational classes for our clients and it would be so much easier if we could import a .csv or .xslx with all of the attendees and have it log the meeting with them. (Instead of creating the event on one contact and adding in all of the attendees by hand). We typically have over 50 clients attend these events, so it would save us a lot of time and help with th accuracy of our Activity timelines.    This would also allow for us to send out follow-up communication from the event or class to the clients who attended.  ...read more

I have a workflow and would like to export contacts who have completed a certain action from a branch. Right now I can't do that from within the workflow view. I would like to be able to export these contacts so I can save them as a static list. I would like to use this static list in other workflows and one-off emails. ...read more
