In the "Lists" section, the option "append to current values" does not exist so that instead of adding an extra value, (e. g. the buying role "decision maker" to a user that is already classified as "power user") pushing the update will replace the "power user" value instead of appending the "decision maker" role. If you open the list in the "Contacts" view, you have the choice to select between replacing and appending which much safer. Please provide the "append" option also in Lists to be consistent and help prevent users from accidentially replacing instead of appending. The append option is also available in workflows when you set property values.    As an extra security feature, I would love to see that you also add a warning message if a user selects to just "update" and make sure the user is fully aware that all other values will get replaced by the new one. ...read more

Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more

Hello, Ingrid,   Thank you so much for helping me today. During our call, I recommended having a spot on the Lists page - next to where "All Lists", "Unused Lists" and "Recently Deleted" reside that tells the client how many Static Lists and Active Lists are being used. Right now the only way to find this out is to manually add the lists or to contact Customer Support.    This is helpful because we recently ran into a situation where we maxed out on uploading/creating new static lists and didn't know it. When a Marketing department makes use of hundreds of forms to collect leads with paid advertising it would like to create active lists that keep track if/when these leads turn into actual revenue. In this way it can determine the effectiveness/ROI of paid activities.   The current list filter Hubspot provides for this, only let's you select indivdual forms to include in the filter. When you make use of hundreds of forms, setting up this filter will take hours and is very sensitive to errors. Also, when you add a new form to your campaigns you need to manually add this form to the Hubspot filter.     This problem would be solved if you were able to create the filter based on "form name contains any of" rules/dropdowns. This way of filtering is possible with other properties in Hubspot.   Having this feature for including forms in bulk will save hours of manually adding form names to a filter and makes sure that the filter itself will add newly created forms as long as you make use of a consitent naming convention for forms and the form name corresponds with the created filter.     ...read more

We have thousands of lists, but only send marketing emails to a select number of them.   It would be a great enhancement if our most used lists show up first in the "send to" and "don't send to" drop-down menus when scheduling a marketing email. This feature would be different by user because each user is responsible for sending emails to their own lists that they manage.   This would add a lot of value. It would be a time saver as some of our list naming conventions are quite long to type out, we wouldn't need to keep desktop sticky notes to copy and paste the list name into the "send to" and "don't send to" fields, and very helpful when onboarding new associates. ...read more

Dear HubSpotters 🤖 , in the past we had the possibility so see all the points in time when a contact list was modified directly on the trend line of the list perfomance within the performance tab. It was so convenient since we could easily spot when the filters were changed and the direct impact those actions had on the list #s.  I recall there was a specific marker on the point in time where the chage occurred.  Now, if we go on the `details` tab, we can see the `last updated` date but it is not enough and not precise as it was looking at it directly on the trend line. Also, now we can see only the last change, so we are missing what happened in the past.
