Add a Closed Deal Recency Data Point (I've confirmed this functionality does not currently exist in HubSpot, because we have discussed this at length with our onboarding specialist, who has also discussed it with members of the HubSpot product team. They have identified it as a "roadblock" and have acknowledged that it is a need. Nonetheless, please vote for this idea if you think you would benefit from it so that we can get their attention and hopefully speed up the process to get a native solution implemented.) In cases for both contact-based workflows and building an active list, it would be extremely helpful to have the ability to "segment" by a recent purchase of a specific product. For example, when a contact is in a "pre-purchase" workflow, the goal is to get the contact to purchase the product being promoted in the workflow, and once that has occurred, the contact should be automatically removed from the workflow. (I am surprised to learn that the action of purchasing a specific product is not a goal that can be set within the workflow in HubSpot.) In most cases, our goal for any of our workflows is to result in the purchase of a product, yet we cannot currently set this as a goal in a workflow. So, even if purchasing a specific product cannot be added as a goal for a workflow (which I think is remiss), we at least need the ability to set a "less than" date under an If/Then branch > Deal Properties > Close Date parameter. If our workflow is comprised of a daily email send, and a contact within the journey purchases the product, we don't want that contact to continue receiving the emails in this workflow, because they have converted to a customer/purchased the product. So, we want a "check" before each email in the workflow that removes any contacts in the workflow who have purchased the specific product in the last 1 day. Setting a "less than" date is not currently an option. This same request applies to Active Lists. Please add the "less than" parameter under Deal Properties > Close Date so that we can generate a list of customers who have purchased a specific product in less than 1 day, etc. In both cases, setting a specific date does not work because our workflows and this type of Active List will be "live" indefinitely, so the date "structure" needs to be that of a "rolling date" rather than setting a specific hard date. The only way to accomplish this functionality currently is to have our Dev Team build out a special third-party app that will repurpose our Shopify deal data within HubSpot and timestamp the purchases/closed deals. This solution is neither perfect nor ideal, but it will have to serve our purposes until HubSpot implements this functionality natively. Thank you for reading and for voting!
