Hi HubSpot Team, I’d like to share a feature suggestion that could significantly enhance attribution analysis and customer journey reporting within HubSpot. It would be extremely valuable to have the ability to export field history data based on segments or lists, particularly for traffic source–related properties. For example, if I create a list of specific contacts, I should be able to export, for each contact in that list, the full history of traffic source fields, such as Latest Traffic Source, Original Traffic Source, their drill-down properties. With access to this segmented export of field history, teams could: Analyze the full journey of prospects across channels. Identify the original acquisition channel (as the first occurrence in the traffic source history). Understand which channels contribute most throughout the journey. Pinpoint the true conversion-driving channel. Perform deeper drill-down analysis at the campaign, source, and term level. Today, similar insights often require external tools such as DreamData or HockeyStack to reconstruct journeys. Enabling this capability directly within HubSpot would eliminate the need for additional tooling, resulting in significant cost savings for customers. As a next step, this could be extended further by allowing users to analyze traffic source history directly within HubSpot (e.g., charts and reports based on latest/original traffic source history), removing the need for manual exports and enabling real-time insights. This enhancement would greatly strengthen HubSpot’s attribution and journey analytics capabilities and add substantial value for data-driven teams.
