QBO Integration with Multiple QuickBooks Accounts Wanted to share our recent experience with the new QuickBooks Online integration, in case it helps others navigating a multi-entity setup. We’re a team that runs multiple QBO accounts under one HubSpot environment—each tied to a separate legal entity. Out of the gate, the new integration looked promising, but we hit a wall pretty quickly: there wasn’t a straightforward way to assign invoices (or subscription packages) to the correct QBO account at the moment of creation. Everything defaulted to one account, with no UI option to switch. After some back-and-forth, we finally got connected with Fredy on the HubSpot support team—who was absolutely fantastic. He helped us think through the structure and got us to a place where the integration is now functional using workflows as a workaround. Essentially, we’re routing invoices to the right QBO account based on deal or company-level logic inside a workflow. That said, it’s still not ideal. What would make this a game-changer for teams like ours: Ability to choose the connected QBO account at the time of invoice or subscription creation (dropdown or selector in the invoice screen) More flexible visibility into which QBO account a record is tied to Possibly even tag/label options to reflect which QBO account the invoice is syncing with, especially in multi-brand or multi-entity setups We love where this integration is headed—it’s clear a ton of thought has gone into it—but for those of us running multi-LLC or multi-brand environments, just a few added controls would take it from good to great. Appreciate all the work being done on this—big thanks again to Fredy for the clear and thoughtful support.
