Adding another level to the subcategories would help keep information together and make the knowledge base easier to navigate.   Example:   1. Category (shown on help center home page)     a. Allow users to edit the HTML code of the article, in order to add custom formatting, tables anchor links, code snippets etc.   Zendesk and Freshdesk have this feature...   PS - There is a code icon in the editing toolbar, but it's for inserting links not code! Guess the icon is wrong. ...read more

While we want most knowledge base articles to be public, there are some we want to keep private so that only our customer service representatives can view them. For example, a customer might ask a question that's sensitive, and we want to have an article for reps on how to respond to the question. So, ideally:   Enable a "Private" setting on knowledge base articles Only allow certain users (maybe admins) to toggle this off once it's set Don't show private articles in public knowledge base Don't allow these articles to be searched through the chatbot interface or the knowledge base search box ...read more

Would be cool if you would autogenerate a ToC of knowledge base articles from the paragraph headings without wasting too much screen real estate. Maybe an option to toggle on and off? Or a sticky box that scrolls with you? Especially for longer articles, this allows the user to get to his content faster or judge better if the answer is in the article. ...read more

I would like the ability to report on Knowledgebase article creation in the reports section of HubSpot. Right now the Dashboard provides views over time and specific article views, but to see published articles, drafts, or archived articles you have to be in the Knowledgebase inside of Service Hub. I also believe it would be beneficial to have the ability to show the other fields from "Insights" in the reporting dashboard (i.e. total searches, searches with no result, most searched terms). Being able to see the data in a presentable dashboard is important for many reasons, but as organizations scale Knowledgebase reporting is as important as ticket reporting. ...read more

Not all Knowledge Base documents are "posts/articles".  We have a need to upload .docs or .pdf documents for our customers do download.  Right now it is impossible to add a doc or even the URL to a doc hosted on Hubspot without embedding it into an article.     It is very limiting.   We would like to be able to upload a document to our Knowledge Base Support Site.  ...read more
