Hi, Current tag management in knowledge base articles in not complete to be useful.   It will be very useful to be able to display tags into an article. It permit to display informations "APPLIES TO:" as in the Hubspot Knowledge Base itself (example: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email-tracking/connect-your-inbox-to-hubspot) easily if we can add the content of Applies to into tags and display them.   2 possibilities: - be able to insert tags as it is possible to add video, callout... OR (for sure less time to implement this one) - add the tags into HTML code source of an article. In this way, easy to create some embedded code in javascript and to display them into an article   Without this tag display feature, we need to manage manually this "Applies to". It is a lot of stuff to do it for all existing articles then to maintain them. In the support environment for Hubspot there is a help widget available with different functionalities:   - Top articles - Contact support (opens a contact / chat / call form) - View support tickets - Browse Knowledge base:     You also have functionality that allows you to set a trigger anywhere else in Hubspot that will then open up this widget with the relevant KB article opened inside of it directly.    https://www.loom.com/share/12f8b62c4b4e414ca2e75264d63ff596   We are currently using the Service desk of a competitor that has a widget like this as a feature. It's a feature that is sorely missing in Hubspot Service Hub - as you can only link to KB articles through the chat widget. But this is not intuitive at all.    Enabling users to browse the knowledge base and directly open articles from within the widget allows for a lot better self-help and reduces the amount of customer support requests. Of course we do not have to convince Hubspot of it's value as you spend development time on custom building this solution for yourself.   Now it's time to make it available to your Service Hub customers as well 😉  ...read more

One idea which would help many users would be to have an image gallery for the Knowledge Base articles.   We already have one for both Website/Landing and Blog pages - Edit an image gallery module - and it would be great to have this functionality for our KB too ...read more

I'd like to assign Knowledge Base articles/how-to's to certain groups within my organization (i.e. Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, etc.)  I don't want all groups to see all articles. This would be a great addition to Knowledge Base- the ability to tag or select the groups that can read these articles. Thank you.   ...read more

Hello. I'd like to request adding a main template to the knowledge base that displays subcategories in addition to the top/suggested article. This way managers can improve the structure and categorization of their knowledge base and facilitate better UX as users can find what they need easier.    Attached is a sample of my knowledge base which is already broken down into subcategories. Appearance-wise it looks cleaner and more structured, and users can easily find the information they need based on the submodules. It'd be highly beneficial if we could adopt this functionality in the template as well, which currently doesn't allow subcategorizations.    ...read more

You need a tool that allows customers to import a word doc from a local machine or SharePoint. We are a new customer trying to set up our knowledgebase, and when I try to copy/paste the content from MS word, the content does not transfer into the newly created article in HubSpot. Hi everyone,   The design of the knowledge database is almost impossible to influence. The layouts are therefore very boring. In addition, it is not possible to put the website URL under the same URL as the knowledge database. Example: www.example-URL.com and www.example-URL.com/knowlage-base. It would be really handy if the knowledge database could be editable in a similar way to blogs (listing page and sub-articles) and if it could be located directly on the same URL as the website. When I am trying to customize elements in the knowledge base template, I have the options to add the company logo, and a link to the website, the link to the customer portal , link a support form, and also of a sign in button since we use private content which requires registration.... nothing else.    What i simply do not get , and wonder why you have added this duplication , is that these elements of the navigation bar are also being replicated into the footer of the knowledge base page.  There is an option to add additional links into the footer, but no option to not display the same elements as in the navigation bar.  Makes no sense to me.    Support advised that this functionality cannot be modified and these elements will always show up in both places. ... why?   I consider this more of a bug than a feature request , but support cannot assist.     ...read more
