Great minds think alike

Just like there is a native property "Number of Associated Deals" or "Number of Associated Contacts" on the Company object, I am in dire need of expanding this to all objects and have an 'Associated' Property on all objects. Beginning with "number of associated Leads" on Company, Contact, and Deal. And on Leads: "number of associated Companies, Contacts, Deals, etc" But it should be everywhere: Any Ticket should have a Number of Associated "Fill in Object" for each object. Any Deal, any Lead, any Service, any... you name it. I have been building for several customers, and have to find all kinds of weird workarounds to be able to reference the fact that there is a related/associated record on a different object, when it should be there out of the box. It affects everything, from Workflows to Reporting to anything you want to build or do or connect. For many people who import data into Hubspot frequently, it can be frustrating to re-map properties and set the appropriate 'do not overwrite' values against each property every time. If we could create a template for frequent imports of the same sort/data, this would save time and streamline the process further. This would mean as well as Hubspot trying to remember which columns were mapped to which property (which works about 50% for us currently) it would remember all of them and their 'do not overwrite' tickbox selected as yes/no as well. The box with the import information is always too small and a scroll bar appears at the bottom., which is a bit annoying because you have to scroll down before you can scroll horizontal.  I've isolated the problem to the dJKxhr class on the section element containing the table The max width of 1376 is insufficient for the needs of the table.  (Why calc?)  The beginning and end are always cut off no matter how wide my browser window is.  It would be great if this could be tweaked.  Maybe just not have a max width. ...read more

The introduction of Prospecting to manage leads is a welcome addition to HubSpot.  We have adopted it and over all it works really well.   However, some of the standard functionality in how you manage other record types (companies, deals and contacts) aren't available for Lead records.  This includes: exporting leads to a spreadhseet, and the ability to make wholesale changes to that export and re-import it back into HubSpot.  The ease of use of HubSpot doesn't seem to apply to Lead records which is frustracting and hard to understand.  Can this be fixed to make data management of lead data easier and encourage the adoption of the Lead feature in HubSpot?   ...read more

We have several blogs with posts in multiple languages. We would love to import all the posts and associate them together with an ID so they can automatically be added to a multi-language group. This includes the importing of tags and authors in the correct multi-language groups. We have 5 blogs and 3500 posts between them all. Manually associating posts to a multi-language group is impossible and now we are forced to build an API-based application to create the posts.  ...read more

Quick question — is there any feature (or workaround) in HubSpot that can automatically detect contacts that were previously deleted (in the recycle bin) when importing a new contact list? For context: Sometimes we re-import older contacts that might have been deleted earlier, and it would be great if HubSpot could automatically flag or restore those existing records instead of treating them as brand-new ones. Is there a setting, workflow, or import option that helps identify contacts that already exist in the recycle bin before creating new duplicates? Thanks in advance! ...read more

We currently use Google sheets to create and send invoices. We plan to start using Hubspot. It would be great if there was a functionality to bulk import old invoices into the invoice object that we can then connect to deals, so we have all historical and present invoicing data in one place. ...read more

When Exporting, I always want to tick "Associations included in export" under Customizations.   I would like HubSpot to remember this when I export so I don' have to remember to tick it every time.  ...read more

At the moment, it is not possible to import leads. However, this would fit our funnel strategy more than importing deals.  Our data provider offers API endpoint solutions only at tripple the cost, and due to data volume (only around 30 sets per week) it would help a lot to become able importing them. ...read more
