Great minds think alike

It's crazy to me that Hubspot doesn't have the option to make a contact or deal private. Hubspot has provided about four different workaround solutions but nothing that actually accomplishes this. With enterprise you can make certain properties private, but that doesn't account for confidential notes on a contact or deal record.    The current and best workaround appears to be to restructure my entire organization so that only certain teams have certain access to certain contacts and then make the contact owner a certain individual. This doesn't really work as a solution since certain individuals are on more than one team.    Hubspot, PLEASE PLEASE allow us to make objects private to certain teams instead of having to restructure our entire permissions set.  ...read more

We recently switched to help desk in hopes of providing an easy picture of open support tickets to our customer success team. With Help Desk, currently it automatically pulls in all ticket pipelines. I would like to see Hubspot allow users to set preferences on which ticket pipelines should be associated with the help desk.    The reason for this need is that we use ticket pipelines for different functions (IE product wishlist, onboarding ticket pipelines, and a renewal pipeline).   It's really hard for me to understand what was the purpose of moving things around - not sure if others are as bothered by this as me.   Sure, if you are looking to redesign the menu to be more convenient and easy to use that is amazing.   But now, not only did you keep the old navigation bar that is just for search now, you added an extra bar on the left with less useful space.   You have to commit to left side or right, but now both of those are blocked. Majority of the top bar is just useless now.   Moreover, I cannot click right away to "marketing" or "automations" and get where I need to go, I have to guess what icon it is, hover over it, wait for the bar to open up, and only then click.   All in all, these changes are horrible and provide 0 value to the user. So we have a Customer Portal for our support, and the registration page do not have reCAPTCHA, and we are getting about 10-20 bot-signups in our CRM almost every day, filling up our CRM with bot companies and contacts. It's also a security problem.  ...read more

I would like to request that the quote expiration is taken off as soon as the client/customer signs the quote.   In my experience I have had clients sign the quote just before expiration and as I may not be able to countersign right away the quote expires and therefore I am able to countersign the quote in Hubspot.  The only work around I then have is to either download and sign it with another form of e-signature or recall and edit the quote and re-send to the client for acceptance again.   ...read more

This idea concerns the HubSpot status page https://status.hubspot.com/   Right now it is possible to subscribe to email updates for individual ongoing incidents, but there is no general email subscription option. The idea is to receive an email notification whenever anything whatsoever is reported on status.hubspot.com   As per the page footer, the HubSpot status page is a service provided by statuspage.io   Looking at other companies who provide status pages via statuspage.io , you can see that they provide this type of functionality. With Hubspot's push into support, there is a need for them to invest further into calling.  Hubspot's current calling system is woefully underpowered to be able to fully run a support department.   1) Inbound calls shouldn't need a support employee to remember to open a new window when they login for work each day.  When they are logged into the support platform, they should be logged into the phone system.   2) The Hubspot mobile apps need to allow inbound calling so that higher tier reps can receive escalated calls without being logged into constantly into Hubspot. ...read more

Gathering tickets at a company level is a must have. More and more of our customers are in multi-site environments, where tickets are managed by a super-user for all related companies.
