We have an issue whereby companies are being created when we don't want them to be. Some of our forms are B2C. However, B2C customers are submitting leads, then based on their email domain, Hubspot creates new companies. This is causing a headache now for our B2B Sales team - as there are loads of "companies" we don't want being created in Hubspot.   Have been on live chat and it seems company creation is either ON or OFF for the entire account - that's not viable. Also companies that are auto-created are not assigned to a team, even if the original contact/s and their deals were - we just have a load of random companies stuck in "Unassigned".   Can we please have a way to turn off company creation for certain forms? I'm sure there's a very good reason for this, but why there isn't a 'File' property available for Companies?   With the addition of blending Contact & Company records into one form (great feature, by the way), I wanted to create an onboarding form for our newest clients.   As a promotional product company, we have to act as an extension of the marketing & design teams. We have to be on-brand on Day One with zero back & forth with the marketing manager/creative director   Adding file fields for 'Full color logo' or 'Single Color White Logo', etc would go a long way to make the company record a singular client preference card. Right now we use the notes section, which isn't exactly ideal, but gets the job done.   The form would have those 'logo' fields, as well as fedex tracking numbers, preferred finance POC/invoice email, etc. Ideally this would eliminate the initial back & forth that's typical of getting a client up & running.     ...read more

Microsoft 365 is a important part of our daily tools and it come out more and more functionallities that we want to use to reduce cost.   One new function that comes out from Microsoft is Microsoft Stream and Microsoft Stream can do exact the same thing as GoToWebinar but with even more nice to have features when we have webinars.   So I want to have a better integration with Microsoft 365 like Teams but also be able to connect a Hubspot registration form with Microsoft Stream Event.  ...read more

In HubSpot when automatically assigning contacts the best way to do this is currently the workflow tool.   However some customer would like to restrict certain users from certain contacts and set their permissions to "owned only"  this however causes those contacts to be visible to the other users for a short time.   It would be really helpful to have the ability to assign contact owners directly from within froms. ...read more

For anyone dealing with international customers/prospects is the issue of correctly capturing the phone number, including the country code in a consistent syntax that can be called with one click from the dashboard.   Unfortunately, HubSpot's phone number box is just a freeform box, and the visitor has too much flexibility in terms of the input. Since visitors think and behave differently, say buh-bye to consistency in the syntax.   I recommend that HubSpot forms (and other associated services, e.g. meetings) that use the phone field use a field with a country dropdown, with the visitor's current country pre-selected (based on IP location), like this open source javascript library does.   This will eliminate the need to ask visitors to type in their country codes, and eliminate poorly syntaxed phone numbers, instead providing readily diallable international numbers. ...read more

  It would be very useful if lead flows could be set to trigger based on parameter values. Currently, lead flows will trigger when they match exact URLs or URL fragments using wildcards. However, it appears the Lead Flows does not look at the URL parameters when determining if the URL meets the URL trigger condition. Consider this scenario; a visitor visits a page with a key conversion form having been referred from a page about a specific event or product. We have on conversion form for all products or events as there are too many to create a unique conversion page for each. We indicate which product or event referred the visitor to our conversion form through a parameter (which we are also using to prepopulate product or event information into the form) e.g. http://www.hubspot.com/quote-page?event=my%20event%20one If lead flows could match against URL parameters and the visitor then went to exit the form page without converting we could pop up a lead flow offering them a guide or brochure about the event or product in question. ...read more
