So, I have been starting HubSpot Marketing and loving the software but what I initially thought it could do in terms of social posting doesn't appear to be available.   Alt text can be added to images, which is great, however... When you come to getting into bulk scheduling, not only do you have to manually find the image URL from the file manager to add to your spreadsheet, there is no way to pull through embedded Alt text.   What I thought I would be able to do is manually add the Alt text in Bridge so that it's description is specific, with all other Meta Data that is applied as standard to my graphics. Then, when uploading to the file manager I was hoping that it would pull this data through so that I any ever have to manually sort the Alt text once.    That is not the case though. Hubspot doesn't seem to recognise anything other than the file name, meaning I have to manually create Alt text for every post. If I want to do 5 standard posts to Twitter a day that's a **bleep** of a lot of wasted time and resources, making the whole process un scalable.   Even just having the ability to add Alt text at a file manager level would be better. ...read more

If we are unable to change a default File URL Visability to No Index. Atleast allow us to sort by the current state, so I can manually change them, as you can sort with all other information on the Files table. It is time consuming to have to look through page after page to ensure images are not public and indexed.   ...read more

Not sure if this is even possible, but it would be nice to be able to set a featured image for a pdf in any instances where you're not gating content but are sharing links directly to pdfs (for example, you're scheduling a social post linking out to a case study pdf). ...read more

Being able to arrange the contacts in order of importance would be hugely helpful to me and my team especially with companies that have 10+ contacts in them.  Right now, to find the 3-4 contacts that I want to reach out to in a company, I have to read through a whole list of titles that are in a random order.  It takes time and is hard on the eyes after a whole day of doing this.  If I could toggle the contacts and put the top people that I am currently reaching out at the top of the list (and the top 5 would translate over to the main page) it would make my life SO much easier.  It would also be hugely helpful to all of the new people that come on board as they would not be so confused as to who they should reach out to in a large account.     Then if you want to make my life really easy - make this page that lists all of the contacts in order also a summary page of the current account activity for each person in the account.  I would love to be able to look at this list of contacts and summarize in 3 seconds how many emails I have recently sent a person, how many voicemails, how many live conversations, their past interest and their current deal status.  Right now I have to keep all of this info in a spreadsheet outside of Hubspot.     Thanks for your consideration! ...read more

HubDB is a great way to publish structured content on a Website built on Hubspot's CMS. However, the Rich Text editor in HubDB misses one important feature: ability to add images in that content.   This is very important for projects where web pages are driven by HubDB content, and while - yes, there is an option to add a column in HubDB with an image, this is not enough - as most of the times you need to add images inline, contextually, and part of that content.   There is a workaround for this, namely you can import new line in the HubDB table from a CSV, and the CSV cell corresponding to the HubDB rich text column can contain HTML with tags pointing to images. The ability to export file uploads from form submissions that include contact properties and the ability to export more than 10 files at a time and also includes an identifier to the contact OR ability to export with selected properties.   Rather than open the contact go to the file upload property export the file and then copy-paste the corresponding custom properties — exporting 1 by 1 (over 1000 files) just isn't realistic and exporting 10 at a time with NO contact identification serves no purpose.      ...read more

It is a common practice between B2B companies to send samples and/or prototypes to their clients in order to show the quality of their products. In most of these cases the samples are used to validate and certificate us as a suppliers or partners. This a very common activity between B2B companies, and most of the times are a must to reach a Deal.   In HubSpot there is no possibility to record these activities (recording samples data and shipments and subsequent actions of follow up) and after that follow up them wit h new actions.   So, I would like to propose to add a new button to the other ones (meetings, calls.....). This new additional button might be label as SAMPLES. Simply It can be seen as a special type of task.   About, How it might be configured and work?. Here you have my idea of its functionality. This new button, being a special type task, could be like the one it is use to record and track tasks, with the same functionality. It can be like the tasks one that we have available today. So simply... the function SAMPLES could be constructid as a copy paste of Tasks. So for HubSpot app developers it should be an easy going implementation work. Let's say that a duplo of task register fields just changing TASK by SAMPLES title would be ok.   Pls consider to implement such a NEEDED functionality in HubSpot for B2B companies. while there is a Google Drive option, HubSpot Documents only allows you to pull from My Drive and Shared with Me. The tool does not make our company's Shared Drive accessible using this option. We keep all materials on the shared drive, so this is a pain for our Marketing team to keep both Drive and HS Docs updated. Currently, there is no way to restrict the file type or look at the file header when a file is uploaded using a form.   Just so everyone is aware, anything can be uploaded.  EXEs, Shell Scripts, Java files, you name it, and it is a potential security nightmare for anyone using Hubspot.   Imagine a threat uploading something that if clicked, can install ransomware on the computer of someone in your sales team, and it spreads to your internal network.   Just an idea.   And your HubSpot's reference on protecting their own environment. https://cwe.mitre.org/data/definitions/434.html     ...read more
