It would be nice for HubSpot to build a feature into the File Manager that allows you to toggle on/off if you want to use the file name for the file URL or not. Since the file URLs are used in several different places in HubSpot (snippets, marketing emails, landing pages, HubDBs, etc.), replacing the file does not break the links where it is used. However, since some of the revised files are from outside sources (not created by us), we can only change the file name to indicate that it's a revised version of the file -- we usually add the revised date at the end of the file name. However, when you replace a file AND rename the file in File Manager, it breaks the link everywhere the link is used. This is why, it would be nice to have a toggle that allows you to either use or not use the file name as the file URL. Even though you can see "Updated" date, that date doesn't always mean it's the date the actual file was revised. It could be the date that the file was uploaded.
