Sometimes I need to look for old attachments in a company account, for example when an offer was sent from a former employee of the firm. However there is no efficient way of searching through the attachments, but to go down a list one by one. Depending on the account, there can be hundreds of attachments, especially when company logos in email signatures are saved. My department uses a lot of transparent-background PNGs of white icons. Unfortunately they're practically impossible to see on the preview of the Insert Image window (see below).   We can, of course, whittle this down by searching for the file name, but we've got multiple people creating and uploading these and sometimes the filenames don't make sense to you (one example would be you're looking for the hammer icon, but that file was named "construction").   We often know what we're LOOKING for, but don't know what it's named. Being able to see the image previews would help us find the icon we're looking for just by sight.   Not sure what the solution is, maybe some sort of "dark mode" toggle or something? ...read more

A function for sharing several files simultaneously via a link would be an advantage in order to track exactly which file was viewed when and how. We use a separate tool to send offers, information material etc. bundled via a link in order to track which files have been viewed and how. Would like the option to associate the "Documents" that are uplaoded and tracked in the Sales>Documents section to companies, contacts and other ojects.   Right now if you want to associate your document with a company you have to download it from the document section, upload it as a file and attach to a company or contact record that way. You lose all view info and it doesn't link back through to the documents portal.   Add a "Documents" card to the sidebar of company, contact and other objects then. It would be helpful to be able to add an attachment from the "Create [Object]" record form. Currently, when creating an object record (i.e. a ticket), users must create the object record, go into the new record, and then attach the file. It would streamline the process and save time to be able to attach the file during the initial record creation step.   I see that there are already enhancements being made to the functionality of attachments (see the thread linked below). I think having the option to auto-sort all media uploads from a form into a folder in the files section would be extremely useful. At the moment when someone uses a form that asks for a media upload, the file sits in the form submission section and is attached to a contact, making it hard to find and sort.  Having the option to send the files to a folder would make this much easier to sort through. For instance, we are asking some of our customers to send in handover pictures of their new cars. If we get hundreds of submissions this means we will have to save each file one by one, when a folder with them in it would save a tonne of time.  ...read more

Es wäre toll, wenn man Dateien, die einem Kontakt zugeordnet sind und auch unter "Anhänge" sichtbar sind, direkt an eine Mail anhängen könnte. Bspw. auch per drag&drop.   Es ist nämlich unglaublich umständlich, dafür erst auf den eigenen Server, bzw. die Dokumentenablage zuzugreifen und nochmal hochladen zu müssen.  ...read more

Having folder in documents is great. However, Staff are rarely using them as the folder can quickly be lost amongst all the files not in folders. This leads to staff constantly having to filter or search for their files making folders redundant. I think Either a File/Folder Tree style explorer would be useful or alternatively, having it sort and display folders before showing files. I think this would make them more useful and lead to more staff using them. It also makes it easier to have training based documents for new staff  in HubSpot. Currently I need to tell them the name of each file individually so they can search for it as a folder that could contain all relevant documents is too difficult to find.  ...read more
