Include user/team permissions or business unit permissions for lists and files.   Currently, there is no way of hiding files or lists across all business units. This means that it can become messy and means that all teams have access to all assets, which can sometimes become a GDPR issue.   Allowing permissions on these would solve this problem. ...read more

The ability to export file uploads from form submissions that include contact properties and the ability to export more than 10 files at a time and also includes an identifier to the contact OR ability to export with selected properties.   Rather than open the contact go to the file upload property export the file and then copy-paste the corresponding custom properties — exporting 1 by 1 (over 1000 files) just isn't realistic and exporting 10 at a time with NO contact identification serves no purpose.      ...read more

It would be nice for HubSpot to build a feature into the File Manager that allows you to toggle on/off if you want to use the file name for the file URL or not.   Since the file URLs are used in several different places in HubSpot (snippets, marketing emails, landing pages, HubDBs, etc.), replacing the file does not break the links where it is used. However, since some of the revised files are from outside sources (not created by us), we can only change the file name to indicate that it's a revised version of the file -- we usually add the revised date at the end of the file name. However, when you replace a file AND rename the file in File Manager, it breaks the link everywhere the link is used. This is why, it would be nice to have a toggle that allows you to either use or not use the file name as the file URL.    Even though you can see "Updated" date, that date doesn't always mean it's the date the actual file was revised. Hi team, posting on behalf of my customer:   We are running a HubSpot hosted page that we have limited access for certain members only. We are looking to upload files from our file manager to these paages so that only our members can access the files, but at the moment, there is no way to limit the access of the file to be member only and we do not want our members to be able to share the url of the PDF with non-members.   Hence it will be highly beneficial if we can limit access to files, like password protect it, similar to what we can do with pages    thank you! ...read more

Currently the attachments within deals, contacts, tickets, etc is a little lackluster and fails to add necessary functionality one would expect.    I'd recommend changing the following:   1) Add attachement titles to search function 2) Easily check multiple attachments to: make edits, delete, rename, etc. 3) Ability to rename attachments after they have been added 4) Ability to add existing attachments to emails without saving them to the files section of hubspot. 5) Ability to control whether an attachment will automatically be added to a deal      ...read more

Role: End user Goal: User wants to upload a heavy video file via HubSpot file manager Value: User will know that the video file will not be uploaded and will try to figure out some other solution instead of waiting on the file to be uploaded.   Repro steps: Open File manager Try to upload video in size over 2.5GB (size is not defined by HubSpot, this is from my specific case) Video is stuck on loading even though it is not uploaded Current behaviour: The UI shows loading bar as if the video is being uploaded when in fact it is not. The loading bar is shown until the page is refreshed. This creates an issue for the end user because the user is waiting for the file to upload, while in the back nothing is happening. Suggested behaviour: It would be great if user would receive a notification/pop-up that'd say "File too big, please compress it before upload." or something similar. In my case HubSpot support suggested Handbrake open-source software to me and I compressed the video. This would be really helpful as part of the notification as well. ...read more

I have a folder with images in Hubspot.   I need to send emails and attach all images from  1 folder. For example 6 images.    Can I attach them all by selecting them ALL? I don't want to INDIVIDUALLY  attach them    from support: "I have checked and at this time, it is not possible to bulk select the images to add them to an email, they will have to be selected one by one - A workaround would be to upload these images externally on a cloud service such as Google Drive or Dropbox and add the folder's link to the email"   ...read more

Background: I am using a ticket pipeline for an internal form submission process where a salesman creates a ticket and then uploads their pdf form under attachments after the ticket has been created. A member from the receiving side was wondering if it was possible to update that document in the file preview and save it. He currently opens and edits the document (Still in file preview) and then has to download that and reupload the new version to the ticket creating two versions of the document.  Idea: My idea is that when a PDF with form feild is opened and edited within the file preview screen you can then save and overwrite the existing form without having to create a duplicate document. The features I would think about and include would be permissions on who can edit and overwite within the users and teams settings tab, and how you would like the save to happen (as in save as a copy or overwrite).  Teams/Roles: Anyone that currently has a process that includes downloading the document only to fill something out and reupload it. Goal: Add a save feature to PDF forms in file preview. (You can currently edit a PDF form and download a copy with your changes) Value: Being able to save a document will reduce the amount of duplicated or copied forms so it would reduce clutter, support organization, (and most importantly for me as my sales team is out-of-touch and not "techy" as they put it) reduce the chance of my sales team sending a wrong/outdated file.
