I would like to build reports based on dates of specific form submissions. For example, a contact came into our database from a whitepaper form in April, then submitted a form requesting a demo in September. So if I create a report for all demo form submissions in September, it will not show me this contact because I can only use create date, which would be April. I cannot use first or recent conversion data because the demo form submission may have been first, recent, or somewhere in between. A report showing date of Demo form submission would show how many MQLs (demos) we're generating by date, and could also show us progressions of leads (marketing funnel) - a huge value for understanding marketing efficacy and the buyer's journey.  ...read more

Hi there   Playbooks are becoming more used and accessible but its not really possible (without using a required field or tag in the playbook itself or automation based on completed fields - which is inaccurate) to actually see which sales team members are using playbooks, and who has completed which playbooks.   Being able to understand playbook usage could help understand what top-performing sales team members use and look at usage as a sales activity report. This would also help if you could look at this as part of the sales journey. This could help in finding out if playbook usage is part of the sales conversion journey.   This kind of reporting will also help sales teams who are trying to standardise sales processes and help sales leaders coach their teams. ...read more

When negotiating a deal, dropping a custom discount on-the-fly can often be what ultimately tips a lead to a customer. In turn, that discount changes the value of a deal...or at least, it should!   The trouble is, right now it doesn't.   Custom discounts aren't automatically reflected in the deal value and it's not an option. So in order to keep deals up to date, every time a new discounted quote is produced, a rep has to remember to head back to the deal and update the value manually.   That might be ok once. But doing that multiple times, on multiple deals is setting reps up to fail. What's more, it seems kinda crazy, particularly when product level (i.e. a discounted version of the product) discounts are reflected in the deal value.    So it's not that the value doesn't update. It's that discounts are disregarded despite unqeustionably impacting the value of a deal. How is this intended behaviour?   Sure, we could go in and build out 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% discounted versions of each of our products, but where do we stop? It seems like it would be incredibly confusing and result in an unnecessarily bloated product library, while making the in-quote discounting essentially arbitrary.   The inconsistency adds confusion for reps, extra steps toward managing deals in the pipeline, and will likely result in inaccuracies when it comes to reporting—meaning extra time double checking the values on all deals.   It seems like it would be easily rectified. I suggest either making it standard behaviour for a deal value to sync with the most recent/accepted quote including discounts, or to at least have some option for that behaviour to exist. ...read more

The "Time Spent Viewing Email" is a fantastic feature but is very hard to report on for more than just an individual email. I would love to be able to use that metric in larger email reports that reflect multiple emails. Even just putting in the campaign view would be very helpful. Could we make it possible for this metric to be used in email dashboards? Also, could we make it possible to have an "average time spent viewing email" for campaigns?  ...read more

I enjoy integrations with gmail or e.g. Calendar for auto-creating contacts/companies, but the problem is that often this creates "false positives". I.e. contacts or companies that are not actually customers or prospects. This adds noise to our dashboards and creates manual efforts to delete them. And deleting them doesn't fix it because they can be auto-created again.     It'd be amazing and super time saving to be able to have "global filters" for both contacts and accounts. This would allow me to create a boolean property that lets me flag "false positives" or "noisy" contacts/accounts so that I (or other super admins) can filter them out of all my views.    Would be super time-saving and greatly increase ease of use. We need a way to build in seasonal goals into reporting, instead of just a linear goal where each month is the same.   Even just being able to add non-linear goal lines would be phenomenal. So we can set exponential goals.      ...read more

With the new whatsapp integration it would be great to be able to report on Whatsapp metrics as we do with emails eg. opened, replied, clicked link. Additionally, the ability to use these engagements in a workflow as we would for emails.   These would be incredibly valuable and a huge reason to integrate into the one inbox. Hi Product Team,    Can you imagine how hard can it be to analyse hundreds of rows of data on a table, if they are all apples and pears?    I'm struggling to understand why time in status (for example) is showing in every time unit of measure. For example, for longer than 1 day it sometimes shows 3.4 days and sometimes it shows 55.9 hours. I would rather it would show 3.4 days and 2.3 days, as it is visually easier to compare.   For analysis of data it is extremely hard to make good use of the data to make decisions, if data is hard to read.    Would you imagine reading in book that is written in 3 different languages?    Could you please review your logic for displaying time data in reports, and improve?   Thank you,  ...read more

As a Hubspot Admin, I would like to be able to access the view history and stats on the usage of our dashboards to gain insight on which users are actively using/accessing which dashboards.   Format could be similar to the Dashboard "Activity Log," with a list of user names and time stamp for when it was viewed.  Then there could also be a column/data point in the "All Dashboards" view for "Last Viewed" with user name and timestamp, like the "Last Updated" column, so that you can sort by the most recently viewed dashboards.    My Use Case: When I joined my organization and took over as Hubspot admin on the existing account, we were near our max number of dashboards. They had been created by various users, past admins and agencies over the years. I could see when they had last been updated, but had no way to confirm (in Hubspot) which ones were actively referenced by the team and leadership on a regular basis.  Many were created and then forgotten and therefore needed to be deleted.  Worse, I came across reports that were inaccurate, using the wrong properties or missing filters, and needed to prioritze auditing and updating them for accuracy. Overall, having usage stats on which users are accessing which Dashboards and Reports would help admins make data-driven decisions on managing the tool.   Additional Use Case: When you reach the max number of dashboards (25 for professional; 50 for enterprise), be able to make a data-driven decision and business case to either: 1) delete dashboards to stay within the max allowed (and know which dashboards, especially those owned by others, based on data that hey haven't been accessed in X amount of time); OR 2) upgrade to the Reporting Add-On to increase the number of dashboards because you have the data to support that you need them.   I'm sure the Community can think of additional use cases for dashboard usage stats.   Thanks for considering!   ...read more
