I'd like to be able to build a report with historical data value at a certain date. I'll give a simple Example to get the idea for Contact property Age for Record Lucy: 1/1/23 23 years old 1/1/24 24 years old 1/1/25 25 years old.   If want to build a report that shows me all the contact that at the time of 1/1/24 they were 24 years old (this means that the property value was 24 at that moment). If this was possible I'd be able to see Lucy in my report.    How it is today as Lucy is already 25 years old, meaning the property value is 25, even if I filter date to 1/1/24 she wouldn’t be in the report.   So we 'd like to be able to report from the report builder (not only from the API as its currently possible) over historical values of properties of Standard and custom objects at a certain date filter. ...read more

My business has multiple departments in it that all use HubSpot to contact with clients regarding different tickets. While someone in our sales department tries sending an email to a client, setting up the email will automatically have it sent from an accounting email we have linked to HubSpot. This causes people in other departments to receive emails not meant for them, and the people who need the responses don't get them. It would be very helpful if we could have individual users be able to change that default email in their settings, or have an administrator be able to change it for everyone. ...read more

Currently, when using the Global Search Function, we cannot amend the default Global Search Results Settings to display properties in the Global Search Results View columns that are relevant to the specific business, and customise views to different teams/ team members in the business.    i.e. Global Search Results for Contacts only show default columns for Name, Email, Phone number, Primary company, and job title.  Global Search Results for Companies only show default columns for Company Name, Domain, City, Region, Phone and Company Owner.  Similarly, we are locked to default properties with Deals, and all other objects.    Goal  We are able to tailor the Global Search Results settings to meet the needs of different teams/users, much like the way we already can edit the object-specific search result views with the Contact/Company/Deal search tabs. This will enable us to:  - Choose properties to display in the Global Search Results view  - Choose order of columns that display  - Change length of column.   Different teams have different needs:    Use cases Different properties/columns to display for different teams  - Service teams may find it more useful to see a customer code property/column in the Global Search Results View; while they can use the Global Search to find the correct company, they can't see on the screen they are clicking on the correct company, because we cannot bring in the <CUSTOMER CODE> company property to the results view.  - If searching companies, would be great for sales teams to see the primary contact in a column, and click directly onto this, rather than needing to click on the company record, to then search for the primary contact  - If searching tasks, would be great to see the internal task owner in a column, so you can easily see accountability.    Ability to edit length of columns  There may be several entities e.g. deals, companies, with nearly identical names, but a small variation right at the end of the deal/company name. So we can correctly read the name, we need to be able to edit the length of 1 particular column in the display screen. This means we don't have to click into the record/hover over each record, to read it. e.g. COMPANY NAME is likely to be longer than other properties, so we want the ability to make this column longer than others.    ...read more

I'm a HubSpot partner and now have spent probably 45 hours just trying to fix one client's Sakari integration over the past few weeks. They wanted to use HubSpot SMS but since it doesn't yet support conversations and responses, the client went with Sakari. The SMS deliverability and conversation threads have a very high impact on their demo show rates, and therefore overall revenue trends. Every couple of weeks the team pings me that a lot of the reps are having no shows and that the new opportunities are not receiving SMS, and every few weeks I have to dive in.    There were a few occasions where there was an opt in issue and some deep settings with "run as" tags on the sakari end to attach to appropriate senders - but outside of those issues about 50% of the undelivered messages are due to formatting.    This client has the Operations Pro hub so I tried using the data workflows for formatting clean up, but it doesn't have an out of the box phone field fix like it does for name and spacing, and wasn't a viable solution.     I tested Format Fox as an option but it didn't work, I couldn't find the test data that was changed within our HubSpot account anywhere at all (searched like i would for zapier or any other plug-in using custom properites/activities/associated objects/updated records) but couldn't locate. When I reached out to them for help they said they didn't offer any support for lower tier plans and to search their help articles.   I'm going to check out InSycle's data quality tool using the bulk transform module for $60 a month, but find it crazy how many steps we have to take just to get phone numbers validated here!    I'm also looking into Twilio and Nexmo, but the client is suggesting maybe we just go back to using Calendy for demos instead of HubSpot round robin meeting links - just because they offer this feature to auto format phone numbers.    IF we do end up having to go back to Calendy - I'll have to set workflows to look for round robin contact owners set in that system, to clone to the associated deal + contact and set proper deal records all over again (just did this for the service team ticket pipelines tied to Intercom integration and Jira boards, it was a whole ordeal.) Please please please please just fix the phone number issue!    ALSO - I know there are a ton of integrations to solve for, but it would be awesome if we didn't have to build custom lists in order to get accurate deliverability information on texts being sent outside of "successful workflow enrollment"  ...read more

We have a software tool that our users buy a subscription too, once they are in this post sale stage, they may require additional services/add ons. We want to be able to create a work flow that goes like this: User fills in a form with their service request. Request is created in Hubspot and associated with the right Deal and Company. The form updates some fields on the company record. The form also triggers a notification to an internal team member to action the service request. There is a pipeline that has 'requested >in progress> completed>' Once the service request has entered the 'completed' stage we want an automatic notification to be sent to the person that requested the service to advise them that it's complete.  We also require detailed reporting.  We don't have Service Hub, but do have Sales Enterprise and Marketing Hub. There seems to be 'tickets' available under our current plans, but I am not entirely sure of the limitations to this as I can't find anything about it on the plan info. We do not want to have to pay any more for our Hubspot access.  My solution was to create a Custom Object to manage this, but I am not sure if we should utilise the available Ticket functionality? At present Hubspot does not appear to have rules for Custom Objects. This is a feature that was introduced in February 2023 for Deals. This feature 'locks' the editing access on Closed Deals to View Only and only allows Super Admins to change these fields. This is an essential feature for Deal but this feature doesn't exist for Custom Objects. Once a Custom Object is moved to Closed we need to be able to limit editing access to Super Admins, the same as Deals. My company is an works in the insurance space and we have a Custom Object for insurance policies. Once a policy is moved to closed we need to be able to restrict the editing access to all those properties. Otherwise anyone can accidentally change the properties which can create significant issues for us. ...read more
