I'm trying to figure out a way to create a new field on the "deal" object that takes the "amount" field and multiplies it by a certain number depending on what's selected in the "forecast category" field (e.g., if "forecast category" = "commit", then multiply "amount" by .75 and put that value in "forecast category weighted amount" field). I spoke with HubSpot support, and this isn't possible to do at this time. I just finished going back and forth with a hubspot service rep and was explaining to him that I am an insurance agent creating a crm platform that will help me and my agent users.    I asked if I could create and object within and object. Let me explain. Many of my customers have children. What I want is a custom box call "children". I want the ablility to create custom boxes in that box labled "Child 1" through "whatever".  In each box, I want data fields such as names, dob, gender, Insured or not and policy numbers.    I was told that I am not able to do that but that it was a great idea and was encouraged to come to this forum and float it. We've deployed several custom objects that our sales rep interact with and/or review on a regular basis. We'd like to make them owners for various reasons, but only be notified of ownership for one of them. Having emails and calls combined as an activity makes it very difficult to know how many times a person was called.  I could be sending emails that are not even hitting my tarrget and only call 2 times and activities show 30. This is useless to my team.    Can we please remove "activities" and add "number of calls" to show how many times a contact has been called into. And "number of emails" to show emails. Dialing is key to our business and needing to guess or open each record to view calls is not ideal. This is an easy fix. please help ...read more

When a user is importing info, there is an option "Don't Override Information" for Contacts or Company. Can we extend this to also include Deals and Custom Objects? I import Deal information on a weekly basis because the deal info is constantly changing. I need the Deal Stage of my deals/custom objects to not change when I'm doing these imports. When selecting multiple records from the object index page a menu populates with "bulk actions" (ie. edit, delete, assign etc.)   With Custom objects you only have two options, Edit & Delete.
