With the arrival of custom objects, I have done some implementations where users will create custom object records from another (custom or standard) object.   Random example, let's say our org is in the energy and utility market, and they create 'Connections' for their 'Companies', to represent an electricity or gas connection that that company has for one of their locations. So they'll go onto their Company record, then add a 'Connection' through the association card. They'll fill in the creation form for a new connection.    Then when they click the orange create button, they're taken to this new record. In some cases, like this one, this can lead to confusion/extra click work for the sales rep, because they're now on the record of this newly created Connection, rather than still on the Company. They don't need to do anything here, they just want to carry on from the Company record.   My idea is to have an additional setting on the 'Customize Create X form' menu, where you can choose the redirect after record creation: Direct to the newly created record (current way) OR Stay on the current record (or overview if you're creating from there)   ...read more

Now that Custom Objects have the ability to dynamically create website pages, it would be a much better user experience if there was a property type for Image rather than having to copy and paste a file URL into a property value. With the "create a deal" form you can have it so it defaults certain information such as the pipeline it goes into and the stage it goes to. It would be really useful if we could do the same with custom objects going into custom object pipelines. I have recently set one up and the whole team will have to complete the pipeline it goes into and the stage which is completely unecessary and just adds an extra administrative burden. It would be really good to have this additional functionality. It sounds like a small couple of clicks thing but it would really help drive efficiency especially across a large volume of custom objects.  ...read more

We have a workflow set up to automatically alert our team when contacts reach a certain amount in their score.   In the notification we include all of the details the team member would need: Contact's: name, job title, company name, country and phone number.   But immediately after our team member receives this email, they search for the contact in HubSpot.   It would be SUPER HELPFUL to have the ability to include the contact's URL in HS within the notification. ...read more

It would be good just having a simple favourite tickbox on a record either company or contact that loads in at the top always would be a great feature so you dont have to always type in 3 letters. Or having a way to prioritise like e.g have a prioroty ranking A = client B = hot prospect C = warm prospect .. then the rest of the list just prospects. Every time you load companies the list would start on the A's then B's etc and you just scroll down to click on the ones you visit most.  ...read more
