Currently you can create a custom pipeline for a custom object and view/change your stages via a board like deals. We should also be able to create funnel reports (such as default reports available for the deal board).   This would be extremely helpful. We use both deals and custom objects to track sales progress. Deals and our Custom Object have different stages, but are associated with each other. Currently we are not able to run reports looking at Activities within Custom Objects. It automatically defaults to Contacts and pulls the activity from the Contact record, not your Custom Object.   We use a few Custom Objects and I am trying to pull a report to show the Notes Body of the notes within our Events records.   The more reporting we can do, the better!    Please help. ...read more

Hi! It would be really great to have personalization tokens available from custom objects within the template creator. We use these templates for sales sequences and would like to be able to customize emails with properties from our custom objects. The goal is to have an automated Zip file creator, which allows my visitors to download multiple files at once. These files are sorted by a HubDB table.   Details: My products have a wealth of informational documents associated with them. Spec sheets, user guides, 3d step files, viewer software. etc. When a visitor wants a user guide, we ask for name/email. Next visit if he/she wants a different file, we then ask for job title. HubSpot progressive fields at work. All good! But...   In addition to this, what if we add a button to rule (download) them all?   The visitor fills out a long form and gives the 6 qualifiers my Sales team wants. First name/last name/email/job title/phone/country but in return, they get the entire suite of files associated to the product.   Sometimes the same file is used for multiple products, so a manually created zip file will not do. When one of these files is updated, ALL copies need to be updated as well. To counter this, we can pull the file names from a HubDB table and package them into a zip folder on demand.   No more updating the same file in multiple places and the visitor has all the information they need to help them in their buyer's journey. ...read more

We are heavy users of custom objects and use these for a variety of reasons. However there is key core functionality missing   Association of Tasks  On a custom object you can create tasks and associate them to the custom object from within the record. However when you click on the task from the task view it says there are no associations as seen below, however if a view the task on the custom object is is associated. This means to click through on a task associated to a custom object you need to also associate it to a contact or company record. This feels like an oversight rather than by design?    Filter Custom Objects  When on a normal object i.e. company or contact, the associations on the right hand side will have a 'view all' button allowing you to see all contacts at a company in a filtered table view. When on a custom object that option isnt present. Instead you can 'view more' this just expands the list of options but does not take you to a filtered table view. We sometimes have many companies associated to a custom object this makes it incredibley hard for user to navigate. See below:   Ordering of Custom Objects  For all core objects (contacts, companies) associations are listed by the order in which they were created, however for custom objects this is alphabetically. There currently are no settings to change this, this means key recent information will be lost when viewing from a company record for example as users will just see it in alphabetical order. Could this setting be added to change how associated recorded are ordered. Hi everyone, It would be great if it was possible to have a two-way sync for custom objects. It's nice to be able to push the data from Salesforce to HubSpot (in our use case) but our business process won't be complete if we can't sync the data back to Salesforce.
