When a company is a group we create a business for each one that is part of it, we have in company a field that we would like to be completed with the information that is in a specific field in "business", if it is only a company a unique value will appear, if not, it will be the sum of that field of the different businesses that are added to the company. The Associations function within HubSpot for Notes, Emails, Tasks & Meetings is almost useless.    Creating a new Deal tags EVERYTHING that any shared resource (ie, company, contact, deal, etc) is also tagged in. I create a new deal and notes and tasks from other companies and deals are pulled into association but in reality are actually unrelated. The bigger the database is, the bigger this problem will be.    There needs to be a way to sort by association & have a spreadsheet pane similar to contacts, tasks & other primary objects.   There needs to be a way to stop this mass-automated association. Would love to have the ability to control which custom objects show up in activity logging. In some cases, we have internal processes built out within Custom Objects. Unfortunately, these objects show up when a user logs activity, and also shows up within sales add ins for google and outlook.    Having the ability to "hide" these objects within activity logging/assocations would be fantastic.   ...read more

We are working on tracking our sales goals by sales rep, but they each have specific goals based on the source of the deal (ex $1m in sales this year from expos and conferences). And I would like to basically have a view feature within their sales deals that breaksdown the sales goal by another deal property (in this case, deal source). And be able to have reporting based on this functionality so I can see where each of my sales reps is in tracking towards their goal breakdown.    I tried datasets but this was a bust.  ...read more

add a tickbox  (or some other Object) to a Note/Task/Contact/Company, etc, that enables it to be only viewed by the Contact Owner. I could do this in my old CRM, setting the viewing permission to 'Private' or 'Public'. This is very useful. For example, a Contact may share a password to access some of their data and they ask for it not to be shared with anyone else. I would add a Note including that password, and set permission to 'Private' so only I (and my super admin) could view it.   I know there is a feature that restricts the User view to 'their accounts only' but that entirely stops collaboration of Users.  I need a feature that allows my users to add Private notes to any Contact/Company that they can currently see.   Hope this idea makes the A-list 😉 ...read more

I would like to propose several enhancements to the functionality of smart rules in marketing and transactional emails. These improvements could significantly streamline processes and increase the flexibility and effectiveness of email-coomunication. Expansion of Smart Rules to Various Object Lists: Currently, smart rules are primarily focused on contact lists. I suggest extending this functionality to other object lists, especially custom object lists. This would allow for more targeted and efficient emai-flow, catering to a broader range of business needs. Inclusion of Buttons in Smart Rules: At present, to achieve dynamic email appearances, we resort to inserting HTML buttons. Integrating buttons directly into smart rules would be a much more efficient and user-friendly solution. This enhancement would enable us to create more interactive and engaging emails without the need for HTML coding. Dynamic Content Based on Specific Properties: Beyond list-based dynamics, it would be beneficial to push dynamic content based on specific properties of the objects. This feature would add an extra layer of personalization and relevance to email-flows. Improved Handling of Custom Objects in Emails: Currently, when sending emails based on custom objects, we face limitations if the custom object has varying content that requires different dynamic rules. To circumvent this, we often have to push information from the custom object to the associated contact to use smart rules via lists. This workaround is cumbersome and inefficient. A more direct and sophisticated approach to handling custom objects in emails would greatly enhance our email marketing/transactional-Email-Flow. In summary, I urge the HubSpot team to consider these suggestions to make smart rules truly "smart," rather than just "slim." These enhancements would not only save valuable time but also enable all HubSpot-User to leverage the full potential of HubSpot’s email marketing tools - including the Transactional Email Add-on, which represents a significant investment ($$$$$$). I have two custom objects that are fee-based processes in our organization. I need to have payment links associated with them and in some cases subscriptions. Seems very odd that you can associate payment links with all of the "out of the box" objects but not custom objects. Please fix this! ...read more

There is no option to customize the middle column of a contact to display the information of i.e. companies not associated with a contact but who share the same referral code. In other words, in the association table card that is used in the middle column view, only associated companies will be displayed. There is no option to match a contact property with a company property in the association card.   Our clients often refer other companies they are not associated with and we have a common property for both contacts and companies that helps us internally figure out a company's referral person. ...read more
