Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more

The ability to sum a value within a deal, filtered to only calculate if another propety is within the current or previous calander month.   This would be incredibly useful so we can see whether a client has hit a threshold within the current and previous calander months and then use a workflow to submit an email notification to their account manager. This is possible to track in reports, however as workflows can't be triggered by reports, this is not ideal.     It is possible to botch this using workflows that set a hidden deal property to the month the date value is set and then the calculated property feeds from that. I've done this before for calander years, but this isnt ideal for months as it means that we have to update the calculated property every month. ...read more

This is a two-for-one idea.    First, ideally searching would open a search window that could be recalled once clicking away by using the browser's back button.     Second, the search results would be a customizable table or card view.    As a sales rep, I'd like my search to open in a window, so that I can return to my search results if I click on the wrong result, without re-searching.     As an admin, I'd like to customize the fields shown for search results. I'd like to do this from a search layout, not a field option, so I can see exactly the way the search will appear for users and design an optimized view.  ...read more

Hi   It would be fantastic to extend the new Associations feature to cover same-type object associations.   This is so we can map out associations between companies e.g. competitors, customers, partners and so on. In our context this helps us easily scale prospecting.    Then it'd be helpful to do the same with contacts (for example - Joe knows Bob from a previous company) and deals (for example - these deals are part of the same overall opp)   Thanks! ...read more

At present Hubspot does not appear to have rules for Custom Objects. This is a feature that was introduced in February 2023 for Deals. This feature 'locks' the editing access on Closed Deals to View Only and only allows Super Admins to change these fields. This is an essential feature for Deal but this feature doesn't exist for Custom Objects. Once a Custom Object is moved to Closed we need to be able to limit editing access to Super Admins, the same as Deals. My company is an works in the insurance space and we have a Custom Object for insurance policies. Once a policy is moved to closed we need to be able to restrict the editing access to all those properties. Otherwise anyone can accidentally change the properties which can create significant issues for us. ...read more

CRM_OBJECT_TYPE_OVER_THE_LIMIT error in HubSpot API   Now only 10 dynamic pages can be created in HubSpot using the same data source. For example, a data source such as HubDB tables (or Custom objects) can only have 10 dynamic pages. This does refer to the editable pages.   This also doesn't mean you can only have 10 dynamic pages total, it is specific to having the dynamic pages all using the same data source.   If this limit will be more, that will be great! ...read more

I would like to be able to edit the 'Orders' object just like other objects, which is currently not possible.   We recently had to upgrade our Shopify integration due to Shopify deprecating certain API calls.   The new integration created a new object called 'Orders'.   When you go to HubSpot settings (top right gear icon) > Objects there is no 'Orders' object listed. Because of this, you cannot edit the setup, associations, pipelines, or record customizations.   Additionally, you cannot add the 'Orders' object to contact cards on both the right and left sidebars for easy viewing. I would like the 'Orders' object to show by default how the 'Deals' object displays on contact cards, but this is currently not possible.   ...read more
