Phase 1 New Field Type: Sequental Numbering Format: Numeric Length: 10 digits Phase 2 Customizeable by users Based on my searches of the community, there is no sequential auto-number field option for all objects in the system. There are plenty of posts about this, as well as a single answer: do it outside of the CRM or pay a developer to do custom coding, if you even have the plan level for custom coding. But isn't that the whole point of the CRM to contain the information needed to process efficently in an easy to use format? Example: "#####" 00001, 00002, 00003 Phase 2 Add customization to it with letters, and other characters. Example: "[AAA]-###" AAA-001, AAA-002, AAA-003 Example: "AAA-###" AAA-001,AAB-002, AAC-003 It could be concatenated with divisions: Example: "[DIVISION.Name]-###", Sales-001, HR-001, HR-002, Sales-002, Product-001 Having this field would enable users to have a unique ID (without export) in their reporting. Creating a file to then interface with an add-on or go outside the CRM to create a field like this is too complicated for how simple it could be. A 1:1 relationship with outside data and inside data is critical for all analysts. Even if you went with just a simple auto-number with an option for how many digits to set. That could enable someone to then map those companies or contacts from one outside independant system to the objects within Hubspot. This unique ID is not new, you have it already created, but it is not allowable in reporting. So option 1) make Auto-number field option 2) allow all fields to be in reporting.
