Would be great to be able to have the standard pipeline automation functionality on standard objects pipeline. Example: I created a Partner custom object but I cannot create any automations for the pipeline stages as this functionality currently doesn't exist.

We have created a Custom Object for Sales Tickets and use a pipeline BUT we are not able to make any properties mandatory unless its at the creation stage. We want to be able to make certain properties mandatory at certain pipeline stages. For example, when the ticket goes to Closed, we have a Closed Reason section but this is being missed as it is not mandatory.

Would like the option to associate the "Documents" that are uplaoded and tracked in the Sales>Documents section to companies, contacts and other ojects. Right now if you want to associate your document with a company you have to download it from the document section, upload it as a file and attach to a company or contact record that way. You lose all view info and it doesn't link back through to the documents portal. Add a "Documents" card to the sidebar of company, contact and other objects then. In the same way that "attachments" to get visibility from a company record of the associated documents with this company. See views and any other info you would in the Documents portal.

We are working with a custom object ("Projects") for our post-sales Delivery and onboarding process. Playbooks are available on all standard objects (Companies, Contacts, Deals, Tickets), but not Custom Objects. This would be such a game changer for our team to have access to Playbooks - all the users of our custom object have paid Service Enterprise seats to access other paid features like snippits and templates, but we're really missing Playbooks on this custom object. WHO: users of custom objects, in our case - post-sales Delivery, for whom Deals and Tickets aren't quite suitable objects to use. GOAL: leverage Playbooks to embed working instructions in a custom object, and standardize the collection of critical data properties during the various pipeline stages for the custom object VALUE: easy onboarding of new team members, structured gathering of information and notes/documentation EXAMPLES: literally the same way Playbooks can be used on Contacts, Companies, Deals, and Tickets 😁

Currently you can create a custom pipeline for a custom object and view/change your stages via a board like deals. We should also be able to create funnel reports (such as default reports available for the deal board). This would be extremely helpful. We use both deals and custom objects to track sales progress. Deals and our Custom Object have different stages, but are associated with each other. We'd like to see a conversion rate between custom object pipeline stages and currently there isn't a report that makes that possible. This is the report type we need for custom object pipelines:

Currently we are not able to run reports looking at Activities within Custom Objects. It automatically defaults to Contacts and pulls the activity from the Contact record, not your Custom Object. We use a few Custom Objects and I am trying to pull a report to show the Notes Body of the notes within our Events records. The more reporting we can do, the better! Please help.

Hi! It would be really great to have personalization tokens available from custom objects within the template creator. We use these templates for sales sequences and would like to be able to customize emails with properties from our custom objects. In our case, we have contacts associated to buildings (our custom object) and would find it useful to be able to reference the address or name of one of their buildings in an email. We are heavy users of custom objects and use these for a variety of reasons. However there is key core functionality missing Association of Tasks On a custom object you can create tasks and associate them to the custom object from within the record. However when you click on the task from the task view it says there are no associations as seen below, however if a view the task on the custom object is is associated. This means to click through on a task associated to a custom object you need to also associate it to a contact or company record. This feels like an oversight rather than by design? Filter Custom Objects When on a normal object i.e. company or contact, the associations on the right hand side will have a 'view all' button allowing you to see all contacts at a company in a filtered table view. When on a custom object that option isnt present. Instead you can 'view more' this just expands the list of options but does not take you to a filtered table view. We sometimes have many companies associated to a custom object this makes it incredibley hard for user to navigate. See below: Ordering of Custom Objects For all core objects (contacts, companies) associations are listed by the order in which they were created, however for custom objects this is alphabetically. There currently are no settings to change this, this means key recent information will be lost when viewing from a company record for example as users will just see it in alphabetical order. Could this setting be added to change how associated recorded are ordered. This would actually be useful across the board and not just limited to custom objects It would be great to understand if any of the above have been considered and if not please upvote Thanks
