It would be very helpful for there to be more ways to automate conversation assignment in the HubSpot Conversations Inbox. A sepcific example that I have in mind regards forms. Can we have a question on a form that has either radio button or drop down menu options and depending on the option selected for this question, the conversation that is created upon form submission will be assigned to a specific team member? If option A is chosen, the conversation could be assigned to Sam, who is an expert on all things related to option A, but if option B is chosen, the conversation could be assigned to Susan, who is the best person for option B. We have tried creating a workflow that will update the Contact Owner based on whether option A or B is chosen, but the conversation is assigned before the Contact Owner property is updated by the workflow, which commonly leads to the conversation being assigned to the wrong person. Having a straight forward, no work flow needed, solution would make this much easier to use and employees would not have to be constantly monitoring the Conversations Inbox.
