I've created a custom source field for Contacts and mirrored it in Deals. The reason for this is because the Hubspot default options were too limiting and could not be edited. Now I want to map the fields so when a new deal is created from a Contact the source information is updated within the Deal. My ultimate goal is to map deals to sources.   Is this possible? If not, is there another way to approach this that will give me the same result? ...read more

Problem: At the moment, Insights does not work for every field properly. I wish we had the option to auto-associate objects with each other. For example, let's say a contact has several deals and one ticket. Can we have the option to auto-associate all the contact's deals with their ticket? This would significantly help eliminate manual steps in reporting and data, and improve organization. ...read more

Hi Hubspot,   For the moment we can create contact, company and deal stage via Zapier. It would be so helpful to be able to add a Note in a contact/enterpise profile via Zapier too.   In our case: We use Typeform to get feedback or Support identification We have to copy/paste answer manually from TF to Hubspot   Zapier should make this connection. Dear HubSpotters 🤖, in the past we had the possibility so see all the points in time when a contact list was modified directly on the trend line of the list perfomance within the performance tab. It was so convenient since we could easily spot when the filters were changed and the direct impact those actions had on the list #s.  I recall there was a specific marker on the point in time where the chage occurred.  Now, if we go on the `details` tab, we can see the `last updated` date but it is not enough and not precise as it was looking at it directly on the trend line. Also, now we can see only the last change, so we are missing what happened in the past. Contacts can have 1 "Associated Company" and several "Related Companies". Workflows and Lists can be generated based on properties of "Associated Company" BUT not "Related Companies" - as I've been told Related Companies is still a BETA feature.   Expanding the Lists and Workflows to included segmentating based on the properties of Related Companies would be immensely helpful and prevent the necessity of creating duplicate Contacts in order to trigger Workflows and generate correct Lists.   Example of Issue: We have "Owner A" who is the owner of "Company A", "Company B", and "Company C" that are in the states of Arizona, Nevada, and California, respectively. Company A is the Primary Associated Company while B and C are merely "Related Companies".   We need to send an email to all of our customers who have a company in California. If we create a List where it filters/segments Companies where "State" = California, Owner A will not be included because their California office is only a "Related Company".     This is just one example where having "Related Companies" is almost pointless, aside from making UI a bit simpler for customers who have multiple locations/businesses. When you have a lot of columns in a list or table in HubSpot in can be troublesome to analyse since the name columns disappear when "scrolling" to the right. It could be nice to fix on or more columns in place so, lets say the name of a contact or company, is always shown when you look at all other columns.  ...read more

When a Contact or Company has a multi-select property, during a merge the values of the source objects are not "copied" to the destination object.  For example, Company has a custom multi-select project named MarTech stack. Company 1 has values "Hubspot", "Google Analytics" and Company 2 has values "Mailchimp" and "Matomo". When these companies are merged, you want to maintain all 4 values.   With an import you can choose the bahavior by adding a ';' (to add) or without semicolumn (to replace). ...read more
