The current forced automation for Lead Stages seems redundent and unnecessary, and really limits the usefulness of using the Lead Object to track and manage the initial Lead qualification process. This is especially true in organizations that have a more linear qualification process.   For example, the "Connected" default automation gets set upon logging ANY call or meeting outcome. This prevents us from using Lead Stages for specific qualification milestones, such as "Discovery Scheduled", "Discovery Complete", and "Demo Scheduled", since if an outcome is logged, the Lead Stage will revert back to "Connected".   Example shown below:   It would be great if we could toggle off any/all of the default automation, the same way we can for the "Qualified" and "Disqualified" stages. It seems non-sensical to allow us to toggle those off, but not the ones for "Not Started" and "In Progress". Also, Lead Workflows can be created in the Workflow tool to accomplish the default automation, so forcing us to use these are actually extremely limiting in terms of Lead Object/Lead Stage use cases. ...read more

I've had a scenario where team members have entered old leads/customers into HubSpot months later (they were acquired before we began using HubSpot) so that those contacts would be added to our list serve for eblasts. However, those contacts were then counted as new leads and skewed our lead data for that quarter/year. It would be great if we could manually update the create date in instances like this so our data would not be skewed. ...read more

Currently, the custom configurations set for an object's leftside bar do not carry over onto mobile. Additionally, mobile does not yet ever allow for external/custom-built integrations to be present on the object's left sidebar whatsoever. It would be great if the mobile left sidebar could mirror what we see on desktop. 🙂 ...read more

Problem: When editing default sidebar view by adding/removing cards, the order becomes locked for individual users to edit their view.   Proposed solution: Have the ability to still move the cards shown on the 'trimmed/selected' default view   More detailed description: We are looking to have the functionality of removing/adding cards on the default right-side bar view, but still have users move them individually. Having more flexibility in designing org charts would be immensely beneficial. As we utilize these charts for larger company structures, their complexity can quickly lead to confusion. The current chart layout is quite expansive, and I propose a couple of enhancements: Vertical Arrangement: In addition to the traditional horizontal layout, a vertical arrangement (among each other) could prove advantageous. Expandable and Collapsible Branches: Another valuable feature would be the ability to expand or collapse individual branches within the chart. This dynamic functionality would allow users to focus on specific sections as needed. First off, I need to say that the Manage Duplicates tool is fantastic. True duplicate Contacts are important for our team to know about as we need to merge them in HubSpot and in two external locations, including in billing. However, as it currently stands, it's hard to find the true duplicates amid all the false ones.   Our association has about 100,000 members. They are constantly changing email addresses and joining and leaving certain clubs that are under our umbrella. In most cases, a record pops up in the "Manage Duplicates" area to warn me that a new John Smith exists, and prompts us to check if it the same as any of the other John Smiths in our database. When you have a lot of John Smiths, this is not very helpful.   My suggestion is to be able to exclude records from showing up on the Manage Duplicate Records list based on certain custom properties that we get to select.   Here's an example. If two John Smith records have "is known" for the date of birth ... and additionally the values do not match ... it is likely that this is NOT going to be a duplicate. If this is true AND the "Active in my Association" custom property has different values I already know this is not a duplicate. I would like for any items matching these filters to not show up on the list.   If the filters could be stackable, that would be ideal, because in addition to that filter, I'd like to be able to separately filter out fathers and sons who have a different Suffix. The filter here would be Suffix "is known" and "is not equal" ... ie Jr vs Sr.   And I'd like to additionally filter out any record where one of the sides in question has a particular status property of "Archived". In this case I don't care if it's the same person.   You get the picture!   We probably have 10,000++ duplicates on file, of which of course only 5,000 can display. But the number of true duplicates is far fewer. Sorting them by date has been an amazing addition to the tool, but instead of 20 or more POSSIBLE ones showing up per day it would be extraordinarily helpful to fine tune it so only the ones that truly need attention are displayed.   Thanks! We use workflows to automate many tasks we would normally be manually managing. I would like the ability to use workflows to "Create Note" on a Contact and/or Company record.   Example 1: Following a training, we provide our clients incentives. Currently our team manually adds a Note to the contact record of the individual who attended and also associates it with the company record of that individual. The note is the same for every individual that attends, but the incentive differs depending on the training. This helps our sales and support teams know exactly what was offered and when the incentive expires.   Example 2: Occassionally we use workflows to fix/update/change properties as we improve our internal processes. For these situations, it would be helpful to include a generalized Note on either the Contact or Company record explaining why the record/property was changed.
