The whole goal of this addition to the Hub Spot platform is to help our salespeople create a process within "Create Deal" on the Sales platform. Ideally we should be able to enter all the information in for creating a deal then when we get to the bottom we need to "Associate deal with". At this current moment you cannot add a new contact or add a new company while in the deal creator. There should be a button to add a new contact or add a new company if desired. Most of the time in sales we are getting these deals from new prospectable clients that we do not have in our systems. Adding a button to add new company and contacts would make the "create deal" portion of sales a one stop shop to pull all customer information in.  ...read more

It would be great if we had the option to add 'Quotes' as a section in the right side bar in the Company Record so we can see all quotes associated with the company.   This saves us time having to go into each deal to see what the latest Quote the customer has signed. ...read more

Hey everyone, I've noticed a gap in our HubSpot contact lists that I believe needs addressing. Currently, there isn't a built-in view to display the current subscription status of contacts for marketing emails. This seems odd, especially considering we can view opt-out statuses ("Opted out of...") for contacts. I stumbled upon a workaround in the community forum (see here), but I believe this should be a standard feature, particularly for Marketing Starter accounts that don't have access to calculated properties.   For my part, I frequently find myself yearning for just such a column, particularly in the midst of managing our newsletter marketing efforts. I propose that HubSpot implement a feature allowing users to easily view the current subscription status of contacts directly in contact lists. Hey I'm in the prospect workspace and I'm trying to filter by properties on the contacts but I can only filter by properties on the lead which contains different data than on the contact properties.   This is the response I got from your help desk:    "I don't believe its possible to filter by contact properties since the leads in the prospecting tool are separate from contacts. I am double checking to confirm this for us"   This makes things very difficult on my IT team and impossible for me in Sales Managent to have a congruent set of properties to sort by, which then requires two completely different set of property data.   Leads and Contacts are two completely different OBJECTS, with different properties - why do I need to create a new object type with new properties?   ...read more

With the recent expansion of associations in HubSpot (same object association, many-to-one associations, association labels, etc) it would be great if we could allow for a set association with an association label when creating an object.   This would be done via customising the "Create a record" form, under "Associations". Instead of just one association per object type, allow for multiple per object association label.   Example: Edit the "Create a deal" form. Under associations, you see two entries for the Company association. One is Primary company as usual, but then underneath you have Partner company, Partner being an association label that has been set up, either optional or mandatory.   Now when creating a deal, I must select the Primary company, but I also can/must select a Partner company.   This feature would be great for teams/users who input data into HubSpot. By allowing the option to be set to mandatory, it also improves data robustness.    Currently, we have no way to ensure that association labels are actually used. At our business we have internal processes that should be followed, but people forget to follow the process. I am trying to set up automated deal alert notifications via workflow that trigger when a deal is moved to Closed Won it sends an email notification to the relevant members of our team that then need to go and action accordingly.   The email would be sent to our Operations, Marketing and Finance teams so Operations can execute the deal, Marketing can market their involvement, and Finance can then go and send an invoice.    Within our notification we then include what products they purchased, and who from the company needs to be contacted for finance, for marketing, for operations.    I have created Company association labels for the contacts to be assigned to, but am unable to insert these data fields into the workflow email    I am also unable to insert the Products on the deal into the email either.    It would be great if workflows could support this functionality in the future  ...read more

I need the ability to edit the labels on the lead object, currently they are Hot, Warm, Cold. I need the ability to designate them as existing customer or new customer. This means that I either need the ability to select muiliple labels or make customs labels. ...read more

Could you get ai to read automatic emails and scan them for words such as "no longer with the company" or retired and make the contacts non-marketing? I realize that IT will eventually kill the emails and our emails to them will bounce, but why wait for this to happen when we can be proactive and maybe even automatically update the database with the new contacts as per the "automatic replys" This would not be considered unethical since AI is not reading actual emails - but only "automatic reply emails"  ...read more

According to GDPR, companies are required to delete contacts whose data they don't need anymore. (right to be forgotten)   "An individual has the right to have their personal data erased if: The personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose an organization originally collected or processed it." https://gdpr.eu/right-to-be-forgotten/   Most companies are thus required to keep a log of their deletion activity. Currently, it is not possible to generate a log / protocol of the regular deletion of contacts.   Of course it's possible to work around that by creating a list of records one is about to delete, export them, remove all information but the record ID (to have an anonymized log of how many records were deleted), save the list of IDs as an unchangeable file (e.g. PDF) along with the note of which type of record was deleted and why.   Typically, data privacy officers strongly suggest that this should be a routine activity that should happen monthly, bi-monthly or even weekly. In light of that, it would be great if HubSpot offered this log out of the box.   Or in other words: As far as my legal understanding goes, all European HubSpot customers are required to do this once per month.   Requirements: Unchangeable file (PDF) Contains type and list of IDs of record deleted Contains name of user who performs the deletion Works for regular deletion as well as GDPR delete Allows for adding a note / context to the PDF file Suggestion of creating a log pops up whenever records are deleted in bulk   Thanks in advance for reviewing!   --   While writing this request, I am aware of recent product updates, such as: Audit log of users security actions in-app Updates to deleting a contact Get email confirmation when deleting contacts However, these are either referring to single deletions or GDPR deletions, unless I'm missing something. ...read more
