Hey I'm in the prospect workspace and I'm trying to filter by properties on the contacts but I can only filter by properties on the lead which contains different data than on the contact properties.   This is the response I got from your help desk:    "I don't believe its possible to filter by contact properties since the leads in the prospecting tool are separate from contacts. I am double checking to confirm this for us"   This makes things very difficult on my IT team and impossible for me in Sales Managent to have a congruent set of properties to sort by, which then requires two completely different set of property data.   Leads and Contacts are two completely different OBJECTS, with different properties - why do I need to create a new object type with new properties?   ...read more

Hey everyone, I've noticed a gap in our HubSpot contact lists that I believe needs addressing. Currently, there isn't a built-in view to display the current subscription status of contacts for marketing emails. This seems odd, especially considering we can view opt-out statuses ("Opted out of...") for contacts. I stumbled upon a workaround in the community forum (see here), but I believe this should be a standard feature, particularly for Marketing Starter accounts that don't have access to calculated properties.   For my part, I frequently find myself yearning for just such a column, particularly in the midst of managing our newsletter marketing efforts. I propose that HubSpot implement a feature allowing users to easily view the current subscription status of contacts directly in contact lists. Currently, when using the Global Search Function, we cannot amend the default Global Search Results Settings to display properties in the Global Search Results View columns that are relevant to the specific business, and customise views to different teams/ team members in the business.    i.e. Global Search Results for Contacts only show default columns for Name, Email, Phone number, Primary company, and job title.  Global Search Results for Companies only show default columns for Company Name, Domain, City, Region, Phone and Company Owner.  Similarly, we are locked to default properties with Deals, and all other objects.    Goal  We are able to tailor the Global Search Results settings to meet the needs of different teams/users, much like the way we already can edit the object-specific search result views with the Contact/Company/Deal search tabs. This will enable us to:  - Choose properties to display in the Global Search Results view  - Choose order of columns that display  - Change length of column.   Different teams have different needs:    Use cases Different properties/columns to display for different teams  - Service teams may find it more useful to see a customer code property/column in the Global Search Results View; while they can use the Global Search to find the correct company, they can't see on the screen they are clicking on the correct company, because we cannot bring in the <CUSTOMER CODE> company property to the results view.  - If searching companies, would be great for sales teams to see the primary contact in a column, and click directly onto this, rather than needing to click on the company record, to then search for the primary contact  - If searching tasks, would be great to see the internal task owner in a column, so you can easily see accountability.    Ability to edit length of columns  There may be several entities e.g. deals, companies, with nearly identical names, but a small variation right at the end of the deal/company name. So we can correctly read the name, we need to be able to edit the length of 1 particular column in the display screen. This means we don't have to click into the record/hover over each record, to read it. e.g. COMPANY NAME is likely to be longer than other properties, so we want the ability to make this column longer than others.    ...read more

Could you get ai to read automatic emails and scan them for words such as "no longer with the company" or retired and make the contacts non-marketing? I realize that IT will eventually kill the emails and our emails to them will bounce, but why wait for this to happen when we can be proactive and maybe even automatically update the database with the new contacts as per the "automatic replys" This would not be considered unethical since AI is not reading actual emails - but only "automatic reply emails"  ...read more

With the recent expansion of associations in HubSpot (same object association, many-to-one associations, association labels, etc) it would be great if we could allow for a set association with an association label when creating an object.   This would be done via customising the "Create a record" form, under "Associations". Instead of just one association per object type, allow for multiple per object association label.   Example: Edit the "Create a deal" form. Under associations, you see two entries for the Company association. One is Primary company as usual, but then underneath you have Partner company, Partner being an association label that has been set up, either optional or mandatory.   Now when creating a deal, I must select the Primary company, but I also can/must select a Partner company.   This feature would be great for teams/users who input data into HubSpot. By allowing the option to be set to mandatory, it also improves data robustness.    Currently, we have no way to ensure that association labels are actually used. At our business we have internal processes that should be followed, but people forget to follow the process. We'd like to be able to see which lists contacts are a part of from a high level view of the main CRM view. So as we scroll through contatcs we can see who is part of a newsletter, an unsubscribe list, a current client list, etc.  ...read more

Records can display reports cards, but only records from another object that are associated.   We have created the fields "Sales 2019", "Sales 2020", "Sales 2021" ... in the company and want to have a graphical view in the same object, which we want to display through reports. We created a general report and wanted to map it to the company. Unfortunately, the report cannot display data because there is no association with another object.   There should definitely be such a simple setting because the visual work and representation of fields should be there. ...read more

When in the contact list or pre-made list and you click on preview for a contact, there is no way to log a call in the contact preview side bar. So you have to go directly into the contact information which is no bueno. SO let's add an action button to log a call, text, etc. and select an out come with out going into the contact information.    ALSO let's add a feature for when we are in the contact information page we can directly be able to go to the next or previous contact on the list from the contact info page. SO we don't have to click back every time to just do it all again. It's a little bit mad if you think about it hard enough.   Doing these very basic quality of life changes will save time.   Hope this makes sense. ...read more
