Our wedding event business has a specially hard time with growing number of duplicate contact records due to the number of decision makers being CC'd on emails. Without our reps being on top of this (they typically aren't or don't even notice), it makes it harder on people like me to go through hundreds of duplicates to attempt to bring our number down. I have a few ideas that would help me get through quicker: 1. Ability to sort contacts by properties, such as the one or both of the suspected duplicate's Contact Owner, or a custom property we have such as Market (if they're seperate markets, it's unlikely it's the same person) -- a feature like this would also make it more manageable to our reps to attempt themselves. 2. Ability to display properties on the main view in order to make quicker decisions. For example, Phone Number, Market, etc. 3. Don't display, or have some sort of indication of contacts that are currently enrolled into sequences and can't be merged at this time anyways.
