I am a marketing operations manager, and I am in HubSpot every day. We currently leverage the ability to merge and contacts and accounts when there are multiples created out of alternative domains (e.g. company.com vs company.net). Not only this, we will often input secondary and alternative domains on records in advance of duplication to avoid that exact problem. It's a great feature that HubSpot provides and we try to leverage it to its best potential. What we can't do currently is report, filter, or trigger workflows off of the existence of alternative domains. Surfacing this information in a way that can be accessible in platform (and not just via list exports) would help with a few new data management requirements, such as account syncs between different CRMs. In addition, gaining the ability to access alternative email addresses on the contact record would allow for more intelligence when sending automated nurture emails. Checking if a primary email was opened/recieved, and then triggering a follow up to the alternative address should the primary look dormant would be an amazing re-heat campaign initiative. Summary: love the ability to specific secondary and alternative domains and email addresses on HubSpot records. Would love it even more if I could access this info in worklows, lists, data sync, etc.
