We are trying to add contacts to HubSpot but are getting an error message saying the "email address already exists". I try seaching for the contact and can't find it in HubSpot. What could be going wrong and how do I fix? ... Mehr anzeigen

Under Settings -> Contacts -> Record Customization, you are able to customize tabs, sidebars, and cards. However, there is an area ABOVE the left side-bar that is uncustomizable. It takes up a lot of space when looking into a contact and doesn't give much useful information (I don't personally need to view email addresses often). It would be nice to have the ability to edit this so that I can have the information that I prefer in this "top" spot. Thank you for your consideration!  ... Mehr anzeigen

  So when assoociating a contact and a company with a deal, the default activity being measured is set to '30 days'. How to change it so that it is set to 'All time' by default?    It would be great if I can say 'By default, I want the timeline activity to be set to 'All time'   ... Mehr anzeigen

HubSpot only supports “date-time” display and function only for to DEFAULT system properties, but not CUSTOM properties. Documentation is a bit misleading and says it can intake datetime values via import or API, but it leaves out that it will strip them of the “time”  when importing to custom properties.   It will only keep the “time” if you are importing to a default datetime field (activity date, meeting date ,create date, etc)   Please allow the creation AND import of true date-time values in custom properties. It would be a great idea to have the capability to automatically assign the "company owner" as the person creating the company. I am noticing that some of my reps are adding their prospects but forgetting to assign themselves as the owner. Therefore, this is creating a problem for us because the admin gets assigned as the owner and has to go in there and switch it so the rep has access to their contact/company. Hi HS team! Can we please consider adding automation to the workflow/process of company association specifically parent/child companies?  If we could have an option to add this automation, doesn't need to be at a company level but just a group/department in our company.  IDEA:  Whenever a new company is introduced as a subsidiary (child) of the parent company, it will automatically extract the following information from the parent's records: Company owner Business Development Manager Customer Success Manager Through this, we can make sure that we have accurate ownership and relation in all company records.  ... I am a marketing operations manager, and I am in HubSpot every day. We currently leverage the ability to merge and contacts and accounts when there are multiples created out of alternative domains (e.g. company.com vs company.net). Not only this, we will often input secondary and alternative domains on records in advance of duplication to avoid that exact problem. It's a great feature that HubSpot provides and we try to leverage it to its best potential.    What we can't do currently is report, filter, or trigger workflows off of the existence of alternative domains. Surfacing this information in a way that can be accessible in platform (and not just via list exports) would help with a few new data management requirements, such as account syncs between different CRMs.   In addition, gaining the ability to access alternative email addresses on the contact record would allow for more intelligence when sending automated nurture emails. Checking if a primary email was opened/recieved, and then triggering a follow up to the alternative address should the primary look dormant would be an amazing re-heat campaign initiative.   Summary: love the ability to specific secondary and alternative domains and email addresses on HubSpot records. Would love it even more if I could access this info in worklows, lists, data sync, etc. ... Mehr anzeigen

We want to enable our sales team through a report or view where they can see the companies that they own that have been on our website. Curently the Website Visits view in the Target Account section doesn't let you filter by Accounts that are already in HubSpot and also by who owns them. The custom report builder doesn't work either as it seems that the anonymized company visits isn't pulled in as a data source. This would be super helpful for our company ABM initiatives.  ... I found a similar post on this, but wanted to reinforce it since this would be of high value to have access to.    When in the Contacts view in my account, I can only search by Name, Email, Phone, etc., essentially the default HubSpot properties. having the ability to create contact properties based on your contact list is amazing, but it should be able to be searched as well. Hoping they can have that updated, rather than having to upgrade to Enterprise and You can make certain properties searchable in the global search.  ... Mehr anzeigen
