I believe it would make life a lot easier if Hubspot would auto populate the "Industry" field in the contact view in the same way it does in the company view. That way when looking at a contact from company X, the Industry field might say for example "Insurance" and then if you look at the comany X they work for in company views  it would also say "Insurance" in the Industry field. In the screenshots below you can see that for metlife, the industry field is Insurance, but for the contact who works at Metlife it the Industry field is empty.   company view has industry field populated automatically by huspot this contact who works at metlife has the Industry field but as you can see its not auto populated by hubspot. ...read more

When working with clients, it would be useful to have the ability to hide partner employees from contact, company, deal, ticket, and tasks lists to reduce the number of people the client sees in a list of people. I can only search through my contact list by name, phone, email addresses, or company.   I would like to be able to search with any criteria. Ideally I would like to use any keywork to search through their entire contact card, including notes, tasks, etc.   Same when searching through company contacts. Currently a global search will result in a match in a note, only if the search term appears in the note preview. Any data which doesn't appear in the preview, will not be searched.    This seems like an accidental oversight? Why would I only want to search the first x number of lines of the note?   It would be excellent if this could be rectified.    Thanks.  ...read more

I was making a one line text property to save the Google maps or Waze link when some clients sent it to us. It is a pretty useful info to our street agents to be use via movil phones and find our client´s houses, when the text address is not enogth. It work well but no ideal, our agents have to select the text and execute the app to open the map, two or three steps in comparation of when the client send the link througth Whatsapp, one step, touch the link.  If there were a new kind of property that save the text as a link, the same way the mail or the phone propertys save it coult work better.  The property as a link coult be use in many ways, link to images, save the url of the company, save the Linkedit address of a client, etc.  ...read more

SLACK Intergration.   Please consider SLACK integration can automatically log or record SLACK Connect Direct Message conversations. Hi guys,   We've hit a big compliance obstacle with HubSpot...which may make it a showstopper of a problem sadly.   We need to make sure that for certain contacts, it's impossible for any form fill, email scrape, integration etc to change/update the data in a field. If data can be updated through an automation (without us knowing) or from the client populating a form, then we run the risk of falling foul from a compliance point of view.     Is there anyway to protect data for certain clients, perhaps using workflows? Or are we going accept that it's not possible to protect data from changing.   To give you an example of why this is an issue. An example might be that Cookies auto populate a log in portal form to access knowledge base content with a non primary email address  (in this case, a personal email used during onboarding before setting their work email as their primary). HubSpot will strip out the non primary email from the contact record to create a new contact, because the old email address is no longer the primary...   Thanks    Jack   ...read more
