I've had a scenario where team members have entered old leads/customers into HubSpot months later (they were acquired before we began using HubSpot) so that those contacts would be added to our list serve for eblasts. However, those contacts were then counted as new leads and skewed our lead data for that quarter/year. Having more flexibility in designing org charts would be immensely beneficial. As we utilize these charts for larger company structures, their complexity can quickly lead to confusion. The current chart layout is quite expansive, and I propose a couple of enhancements: Vertical Arrangement: In addition to the traditional horizontal layout, a vertical arrangement (among each other) could prove advantageous. Expandable and Collapsible Branches: Another valuable feature would be the ability to expand or collapse individual branches within the chart. This dynamic functionality would allow users to focus on specific sections as needed. I'm very excited to have the beta of creating associations and labeling them  between records. But it feels incomplete without the ability to associate records via workflows. My use case is something I've been trying to implement with workarounds since my company started using huspot.   Use Case: We're a solar panel manfacturer. We sell to distributors, that sell to solar installers, that sell to homeowners. We generate plenty of homeowner leads that we would like to send to our customer installer companies.   I want to set a workflow that will assoicate the lead's contact record to the installer company record under the assciation label I made for this purpose, then send a new lead notification to the campany' designated lead-getting employee associated contact , all based on the location of the lead.   I want to be able to look at the lead contact record and see which of our installer companies we sent it to. Or look at an installer company and see all the leads we've sent to them. Or create a deal that is between the lead and the installer company for every lead we send to the company. There's just no way to manually associate these records as we get thousands of these leads a quarter, this seems like such a blind spot for B2B users. ...read more

Would love the ability from within at least the Sales side of things to automatically map/populate Deal Properties from a Contact's properties. We came over from Salesforce where this could be done in conversion, and this is definitely an area we miss having & would make life MUCH smoother for our staff upon creating deals. ...read more

Currently, the out of the box Primary association label for Contact and Company label can't be edited and is labelled as Primary.   Now when we use Primary association label when associating a contact to a company on viewing the contact record the right side view of the associated Company comes up with the label Primary which seems to be correct. But when we view the company record the right side view of the associated contact comes up with the label Primary Company (screenshot attached for reference). I believe the labels should either be reversed or it should just read as Primary for both.   Will highly recommend HubSpot look into fixing the naming convention on the contact-company Primary association label.       ...read more

It would be really useful to be able to hide properties that have no value (i.e. they haven't been filled in yet) from showing on the default left sidebar for contact and deal records. it makes it harder to see information at a glance, because we have a lot of properites showing and currently have to scroll through lots of empty properties to see what has been completed.  ...read more

The new auto-formatting and validation feature for phone numbers is a step in the right direction.   However, the current integration seems to be missing the mark with regard to user experience. I was unable to find any articles or posts in the Help Center announcing the new auto-formatting feature. The only Knowlege Base article that pops up when searching "phone number validation" is a detailed breakdown of editing default contact properties, and then there is only a reference to the validation and formatting being applied "automatically by Hubspot based on the country code."   This feature is certainly a step in the right direction, but several improvements are needed to improve the user experience and make the feature more functional overall (noting that recent comments on an "old" idea thread are already being discussed here; skip to page 7).   Suggested improvements include:   Global Setting to Enable/Disable auto-formatting at the account level - currently, the feature is enabled by default with no disable setting available Global Setting to assign a default Country Code - currently, the Country Code must be selected manually for every new contact (see screenshot below) Bulk edit phone numbers to apply Country Code format & validation -- currently, only able to apply formatting & validation when editing one individual contact at a time OR when adding to new contacts manually added (not via web forms -- this is needed, too) Retain "number only" format for export and/or sync to other apps or integrations to remove non-number characters (parentheses, plus sign, spaces) Default behavior of phone number formatting & validation when creating a new contact:     There are likely other enhancements that other users, especially those not based in the US, would appreciate. ...read more
