I want to send a customer XYZ a email with an link to check his customer information. When he clicks the link, he should be able to click the link and view his own contact information like his name, email address, etc in a form. I am trying to set up automated deal alert notifications via workflow that trigger when a deal is moved to Closed Won it sends an email notification to the relevant members of our team that then need to go and action accordingly.   The email would be sent to our Operations, Marketing and Finance teams so Operations can execute the deal, Marketing can market their involvement, and Finance can then go and send an invoice.    Within our notification we then include what products they purchased, and who from the company needs to be contacted for finance, for marketing, for operations.    I have created Company association labels for the contacts to be assigned to, but am unable to insert these data fields into the workflow email    I am also unable to insert the Products on the deal into the email either.    It would be great if workflows could support this functionality in the future  ...read more

The current forced automation for Lead Stages seems redundent and unnecessary, and really limits the usefulness of using the Lead Object to track and manage the initial Lead qualification process. This is especially true in organizations that have a more linear qualification process.   For example, the "Connected" default automation gets set upon logging ANY call or meeting outcome. This prevents us from using Lead Stages for specific qualification milestones, such as "Discovery Scheduled", "Discovery Complete", and "Demo Scheduled", since if an outcome is logged, the Lead Stage will revert back to "Connected".   Example shown below:   It would be great if we could toggle off any/all of the default automation, the same way we can for the "Qualified" and "Disqualified" stages. It seems non-sensical to allow us to toggle those off, but not the ones for "Not Started" and "In Progress". Also, Lead Workflows can be created in the Workflow tool to accomplish the default automation, so forcing us to use these are actually extremely limiting in terms of Lead Object/Lead Stage use cases. ...read more

I've had a scenario where team members have entered old leads/customers into HubSpot months later (they were acquired before we began using HubSpot) so that those contacts would be added to our list serve for eblasts. However, those contacts were then counted as new leads and skewed our lead data for that quarter/year. Hey HubSpot,    The parent company record really should be the sum of it's children. It would make since for there to be a default association pattern where when contacts are added to the children companies they are also associated to the parent record so all activity flows there.    then if someone wants to get specific, they could just click on the child company and view activity related to that one child company!   thanks!! this is a major painpoint for adopting hubspot as our sales CRM ...read more
