We're dealing more and more with clients with larger and larger databases, and something I'm quite surprised HubSpot doesn't have is the ability to conditionally modify associated/child records in workflows.
Our client wants to assign companies to their sales team, and wants all contacts within that company to have that same owner; similarly, if the company has child companies, those child companies and their contacts also need to have the same owner as the top-most parent company. While you can have a contact workflow copy its company's owner, copying company parent/child properties are impossible with workflows, which really limits the usefulness workflows can provide from a data management perspective. Similarly, the inability to query whether or not contact-to-contact or company-to-company properties match (i.e. if the child company owner is not equal to the parent company owner) also really limits the usefulness of parent-child company associations in the first place.
If the parent company owner gets changed, we want it to cascade downwards cleanly across associated contacts, child companies and their associated contacts, etc. so that all associated records (both contact and company) have the same, singular owner.
Adding functionality like this will not only be a huge boost for account-based marketing and sales, but for HubSpot's automation capabilities as a whole.
