Just adding to the existing discussions regarding this.  Whenever a deal is created there is always a company and at least one contact.  There are many benefits, but one thing I've done is create a workflow that auto-assigns SMs (to help streamline marketing) but if the contact/company are not linked when the SM takes ownership, the workflow cannot do its job.  Please make this a mandatory field! ...read more

Hi 🙂   We would like to get notified while creating a new contact that we already have a contact with the same name. Sometimes contacts register to our system, once with their work domain and once with their personal email, we want the option to see if we have contacts with the same name (not email or company domain) so we can prevent more duplicates.   Thanks! ...read more

It would be beneficial to have reports be tied directly to a contact record on the right hand section. Very similar to how you can view what workflows are tied to a customer. This would provide more insight to see what contacts are in which reports. ...read more

Currently, when an object is deleted, we can "use the recycle bin to restore contacts, companies, deals, and tickets up to 90 days after they were deleted".  In the recycle bin we can only filter by date and search by name/email. However, it would be very helpful to be able to restore the object by introducing its ID.    The best scenario would be landing on the contact's page in HubSpot (where the unique Contact ID is at the very end of the URL ) and have a button "Restore" if the contact is still in the recycle bin.  Why this is needed? - being a unique identifier, Contact ID is what is used in integrations. So whenever we see the connection gets lost (the contact in HubSpot is deleted by mistake), we might not know the deletion date or the exact name but we always have the Contact ID.  ...read more

Keen to have a function that only sends the double opt in confirmation email to individuals located in those double opt in countries (germany and switzerland). Currently if someone opts in, the double opt in email is sent to everyone regardless of whether the country they're located in requires double opt in. We know it is possible to move a contact from one Company to another, however, we would like to be able to move multiple contacts from one Company to Another.
