At the moment Hubspot uses email addresses as unique identifiers; users can't create multiple contacts with the same email address. This becomes a problem when clients are under the same guardian and must use their guardian as their main point of contact, including their email address. For example, our business is in the healthcare industry -- we cater to clients of all ages. When we get Client A, who is a minor, we need to list down their parent's details and email address as their main point of contact. If Client A's siblings, B and C, who are also minors, want to come in as a client, we're unable to create Deals under their names because we can't input their parent's email address that was already used for Client A's record. If possible, it might make more sense if instead of just making the email address as a unique identifier, it ought to be a combination of the First Name, Last Name, and email address. That way, multiple contacts can stand as individuals while still having the same guardian/main contact person.
