Google is rendering my (really awesome) GDPR cookie banner at the top or the bottom of my page when it tests my live page.  This is going to cause long-term problems when googlebot scans my page it is going to see this cookie banner as the same banner across all my pages and I do not want that.  I'd like to be able to have the ability to delay this banner by 12-15 seconds so that Google doesn't "see" it come up when it renders my beautiful HubSpot CMS pages. ...read more

I have posted a few times on HubSpot Community and searched for answers many times. I'm a developer and generally have questions about your CRM API. Every time I've posted a question, where it says "Select Location", I've always put it in "CRM and Sales Hub" as that was the first place that seemed relevant. My understanding of these "Locations" was that they were just different categories in a singular community forum. It was only today that I have come to learn from one of your Support colleagues that HubSpot Community is actually a collection of several different bulletin boards/forums. I think this knowledge will help me tremendously going forward.   I took a look at the Community site in a new light to see how I could have missed that. The first thing I see is that multiple non-familiar words are used to refer to primary concepts.   1. Your site uses the words "Discussion", "Location", and "Board" to refer to the same concept. "Discussions" is used in the primary site navigation. "Location" and "Board" are used when creating a post.  Before today I would have told you that a "discussion" on HubSpot Community was equivalent to a (single) post + its replies.  I've never seen another place that uses "discussion" to mean "board" or "forum" so I find this a very likely potential source of confusion for others.   2. Your site uses the words "converation" and "post" to refer to the same thing. "Conversation" is used on the Community home page (i.e. "Top Community Conversations"), but your site uses "Post" when creating one. Using different words for the same thing is confusing. I'm switching companies. Both companies use HubSpot where I am an admin - so 2 different portal IDs and 2 different logins. And since I have a couple weeks left with my former employer, I'm doing some housekeeping.   Just like transferring HubSpot Academy certifications/training, I was hoping I could transfer my HubSpot Community account. This way, all of my badges, ideas, upvotes, etc. would move to the new portal ID with my new employer.    I contacted HubSpot Support to see how to do this. I was told this is not an option. HubSpot tech team is aware of this request but has no immediate/upcoming changes to this.   I would like HubSpot to reconsider this! Users should be able to transfer their Community account. My idea is that when someone from Hubspot support does not have a solution for the thing you are trying to do in Hubspot, they submit the idea to the product team for you. It is already frustrating enough to be told that the platform cannot accomplish the thing you think it should be able to accomplish but can't figure out how to do. Customer support already has all the data needed; they should be able to submit the ticket as a product idea. Getting constant suggestions to submit ideas to correct the product's shortcomings adds insult to injury.
