Hello! I'm a community manager, and I work in the marketing department. Would it be possible to incorporate a Tagging Tool for social media comments on Social > Monitoring?    The "Tagging tool" is a feature on platforms like Sprout Social that allows you to categorize messages manually. You can create custom tags for sentiments (negative/positive comments), events, employee comments, projects, or any topic in your community. By tagging and organizing content, you can keep your team updated on the community's discussions and better understand what's being talked about. I have posted a few times on HubSpot Community and searched for answers many times. I'm a developer and generally have questions about your CRM API. Every time I've posted a question, where it says "Select Location", I've always put it in "CRM and Sales Hub" as that was the first place that seemed relevant. My understanding of these "Locations" was that they were just different categories in a singular community forum. It was only today that I have come to learn from one of your Support colleagues that HubSpot Community is actually a collection of several different bulletin boards/forums. I think this knowledge will help me tremendously going forward.   I took a look at the Community site in a new light to see how I could have missed that. The first thing I see is that multiple non-familiar words are used to refer to primary concepts.   1. Your site uses the words "Discussion", "Location", and "Board" to refer to the same concept. "Discussions" is used in the primary site navigation. "Location" and "Board" are used when creating a post.  Before today I would have told you that a "discussion" on HubSpot Community was equivalent to a (single) post + its replies.  I've never seen another place that uses "discussion" to mean "board" or "forum" so I find this a very likely potential source of confusion for others.   2. Your site uses the words "converation" and "post" to refer to the same thing. "Conversation" is used on the Community home page (i.e. "Top Community Conversations"), but your site uses "Post" when creating one. Using different words for the same thing is confusing. Currently is there a solution where you can link deals together?    We need a solution that shows phases of deals in separate categories, stages and price points. For example, a deal is started, but an additional line item is added. We don't want to change the deal, because the original deal has already started or in production.    Is something like this being thought of? Or out there already?  ...read more

Chat support is great, so great that the reps are often all taken 🙂 and the support channel is grayed out. It's tough not knowing whether I could check back in 5 minutes or whether it's best to use another support option.    With that in mind, might I suggest a chat queue. Knowing where I am in line and how long it might take to get to me would be awesome.   Staking a claim to a place in line or at least getting some visibility into the chances of me being able to connecto chat would be great.   Perhaps there's other ways of improving the experience, so hey, whatever works.  ...read more

Customers who know the product could be involved more by adding a chance for them to browse existing feature requests, upvote them and comment them just like in this Ideas blog. Making it available as a community tool would be great, e.g. as a template for pages allowing to link feature requests with user contact and company contact. Other idea would be to just add it as a whole new service hub feature or even an individual "feature hub". The value should be obvious: You hubspot guys could add it as a paid feature, while clients could improve their customer involvement and help to narrow product and service development. Hello,   I do quite a bit of research for my company and it would be great to have a a better place to save news articles associated with a specific contact or company. I usually copy/paste the link of the article in the "Notes" tab of the company, but it would be even more helpful if their was a "News" tab that maybe gives a preview of the article or headline and can show up in the wider company activity feed.   This would be extremely helpful for building a unified knowledge base on current events with our contacts.    Thank you. -JQ ...read more
