When I'm in the middle of working on a task in HubSpot, I often have ideas for improvements. However, the current process of providing feedback is cumbersome, as it requires navigating to the community section to create a post. This interruption can be disruptive, especially when working on intricate tasks that demand focus. Consequently, I find myself having to decide whether it's worth interrupting my workflow to share feedback, which often leads to missed opportunities for providing valuable input. To address this issue, it would be beneficial to have the ability to share ideas directly within the HubSpot interface. This would make the process quicker and more convenient, encouraging users to provide feedback more frequently. Additionally, HubSpot could suggest upvoting similar ideas to reduce duplications and streamline the feedback process. The new Guide Creator tool is really really cool! However, we have some clients that don't like clicking links. So I wanted to convert it to a PDF, but it doesn't seem to work. I tried using the Adobe extention to convert to PDF, and I tried to print it to PDF.  An export option would be very handy. ...read more

The goal is to have an automated Zip file creator, which allows my visitors to download multiple files at once. These files are sorted by a HubDB table.   Details: My products have a wealth of informational documents associated with them. Spec sheets, user guides, 3d step files, viewer software. etc. When a visitor wants a user guide, we ask for name/email. Next visit if he/she wants a different file, we then ask for job title. HubSpot progressive fields at work. All good! But...   In addition to this, what if we add a button to rule (download) them all?   The visitor fills out a long form and gives the 6 qualifiers my Sales team wants. First name/last name/email/job title/phone/country but in return, they get the entire suite of files associated to the product.   Sometimes the same file is used for multiple products, so a manually created zip file will not do. When one of these files is updated, ALL copies need to be updated as well. To counter this, we can pull the file names from a HubDB table and package them into a zip folder on demand.   No more updating the same file in multiple places and the visitor has all the information they need to help them in their buyer's journey. ...read more

It would be nice to have an announcement page, where we could post notices for our entire company to see. We also work with a lot of partner companies, and if they had the ability to also go in and create an announcement when something changes in their company that we should be aware of, I think this would really help us stay more organized and informed when coordinating between multiple people and companies. Currently, information like this is always sent over emails, which can become lost in the overflowing inboxes which plague a lot of people. It is also far less efficient to convey updates via emails. I have noticed that we can look into workflow revision history but we do not have the option to restore that previous revision history. I would really like to be able to restore based off revision history, we can currently do this for landing pages. What is the point of having revision history if there isn't an option to restore it?    I also noticed that if you remove an action at the top of the workflow all following actions and steps are instantly deleted without a warning sign. This is extremly dangerous espically since we cannot restore workflows based on revision history. We just had a very long workflow with an action at the very beggining that needed to be removed. We needed to remove this action and our understanding was that it would just go to the next step in the flow or at least give a warning sign that steps are about to be deleted if you remove this action, but it did not. Now the entire workflow is deleted and we have no way to restore it ourselves.     I wanted to flag this becasue this is potentially very dangerous to user who are updating workflows.    ...read more

I'd like to suggest for there to be a way to calculate the ICT carbon footprint (or other widely accepted digital measure) of the hubSpot instance. I have been tasked by my employer to report on our digital imapct as part of the company's global commitment to sustainability.  I understand our sustainability credentials are becoming increasingly important to customers and employees. I'm currently trying to educate myself on the various different measurements for digital impact, but I do not see an obvious way to calculate the impact of our (sizeable multi-hub) HubSpot instance.  If I could even get a size in MB of database + the assets uploaded - that would be a starting point, but this information does not appear to be accessible currrently.  ...read more

Just an idea from an admin's point of view...   What if it was possible to score a user based on how clean their assigned data is.   For example: The goal is 100% but their score reduces for overdue tasks, overdue deals, duplicate contacts or companies assigned to them, etc.   There would need to be a place that points them to the specific issues to make it super easy to fix all the issues in one place.  Businesses could then set reasonable KPIs around their expectations and data maintenance would be made super simple. ...read more

As a developer, having access to both private betas at times, as well as public betas a prod accounts have access to would be vary valuable in staying ahead of changes and allow us to plan, build and ship solutions more effectively. There multiple threads in the developer community that end in the roadlock of betas only being available in prod accounts, often of Enterprise tier. This is fine for enabling in betas in prod accounts, but Developer Test Accounts should be included in the restricted tiers for Beta Access.  We want to build for the future.  ...read more

Is it possible to add an "open all links in new tab" function for blogs? As of now, the default is to have the links open in the same window — if you want a link to open in a new tab, you must manually select each individual link to change the default setting.   For research-heavy blogs, on average we spend an hour per blog solely on clicking on each external link to open in a new tab. As users, since this function is already provided, it would be more efficient to have the option to apply this to an entire body of text.   For our team, this would save us a ton of time. If we could apply this to the entire body to begin with, we could get it done in less than 10 minutes.    Here, you can find a previous HubSpot forum with a similar idea — other people have continuously been experiencing this same issue since 2017. And in terms of SEO, if you’re opening external links in the same tab as your site, this affects both you and your users.    The optimal user experience would be for the external link to open in a new tab, and for the blog reader to continue reading the post, going back to the other tab later. Otherwise, once the reader leaves your website, they likely won’t make it back.    In fact, this HubSpot blog states “opening a link in a new browser window, as opposed to the window they are currently in (your website) makes it less likely that a user will permanently abandon your website for the one you linked to.”    All companies are different. Optimal experiences are different. Workflows are different. We should have the option to decide what works best for us and our clients while having the tools to make our workflow easier.    If we can change link behavior on CTAs manually, why not allow a default setting? ...read more
